Strolling through the most liveable city of 2012

I happily admit that I fell in love with Melbourne. Some of the weirder experiences I had here lately make me wonder whether the title of most liveable city on this planet really applies. If so, the planet must have turned into some really unpleasant place.

Anyway, I went on a mission to investigate a little bit whether I could find some surveillance equipment that could fit into the #Trapwire technology. The internet research unveiled no direct links into Victoria, however, the government here committed to have stricken a deal with SAIC, another one of the global paranoia players providing the technological equipment for total population control.

On my way to the city I enjoyed some blue skies and a bit of sun, which I hadn't seen thanks to Melbourne winter for a while. The familiar sight of chemtrails made me aware that soon the sun would vanish behind some hazy clouds. I knew from Google Maps to look for a building with an ANZ branch in it, close to Collins Street, and soon I arrived at the building, inconspicuous like most of the farms for people in suits in this area.

While looking for the location of the Melbourne office on the web, I noticed that SAIC also has an office in Pine Gap, a well establish spy base close to Alice Spring, not mention being located in plenty of US military bases around the world. Some of the bases had strange names often with 'Eagle' somewhere in it. Not that I don't like eagles, but in a way it's interesting that this company shares their favorite animal with the Nazis.

Although there weren't any current job adverts, SAIC had already spread out in this building to another floor. Varec Inc might be just another company belonging to the web of 'security' companies that like to use as many disguises to remain looking harmless, and warrant a high level of internal compartmentalisation.

Now that I knew my way to yet another place where millions, if not billions of taxpayers money is spend against the population, I continued to look around for some dome cameras as they are used for #trapwire. I didn't have to go far.

Most intersections along Bourke Street had one dome camera, hidden in plain view as most people frequenting this area don't pay much attention to anything around them. The council might explain them as 'traffic' related, although they differ a lot from typical red-light or speed cameras.

This scenic view however, doesn't show a traffic cam - unless you can break the law easily as pedestrian. It captures the entrance of the ANZ building, but basically has a splendid view along the pavement of Bourke Street.

Hmm. Looks exactly like some the cameras attached at intersections, and although it kind of blends into structure, it looks like being attached after the building was finished.

Now that's what I call a convenient location for a surveillance camera - directly at the entrance to a train station, and it seems to be the same kind of model as the one in front of ANZ.

The upper part of Bourke Street has a lot of gastronomy, cosy little buildings framed by the skyscrapers in the background. Outdoor areas to have some food and drinks, meeting with friends, having a yarn, while someone might a great view into the cleavage of guests from above.

Or, depending on the resolution of this camera, which can pan, tilt and zoom, you might even read laptop or mobile phone screens over the shoulder over the user, without raising suspicion with your smelly breath when this still had to be done in person.

I admit, this photo doesn't really look good. It's as chaotic as a lot of the views in Melbourne's inner City, but maybe you can guess why I took it.

Yet another one of those nicely shaped surveillance cameras, like many others not really planned to blend smoothly to its attachment, yet again nearly invisible due to its height. Basically another perv cam, in summer time many women working in offices show off their cleavage in their business customs, maybe that's one of the perks for the poor souls condemned to spy on their community.

Okay, call me boring, there's a diversity of camera models in public, not only the dome type that looks so much like the photos I saw in some of the TrapWire stories. At some point, I noticed that especially ANZ branches had cameras directed on the public, but hey, I'm sure it's a coincidence that SAIC has its office in a building shared with ANZ. And claiming that jumbling the letters and adding an I makes ANZ Nazi would totally undermine any credibility to this story, so I don't.

I didn't follow Bourke Street further down south, depending on some more sunshine with less chemtrails I might do this. I wouldn't even be surprised to find less of them, because of the strategic importance of this specific stretch of the city. Most rallies held in the CBD start at the State Library, go down Swanston Street, turn onto Bourke Street up to the Parliament.

When Eastern Germany disintegrated, and the files of the Stasi (GDR's secret service) became public, many were shocked to find out that the Stasi was able to track people in East Berlin's centre completely just with surveillance cameras. Not to mention that even toilets had some, just like the idea of contemporary shop owners to have cameras in changing rooms.

Go ahead, coincidence theorists, explain it all as harmless, unimportant or 'conspiracy'. Or maybe someone get issue an FOI to the Melbourne Council, asking for the purpose of the cameras, the money spend on it, the people operating and watching.

The TrapWire story seems to make the Empire nervous, lots of things happened to distract the overly short attention span of average citizens. The trolls on chats eagerly dismissing the importance of Trapwire were of course not at all PsyOp. I mean, the government wouldn't really spend money on engaging in social media, using similar strategies to viral marketing to whitewash their curiosity about every step we take in public.

Finalised Matters

I've been to the Magistrate's Court several times now, yet never before encountered such a long queue to get inside. Armed with some paper work, I made it inside, just to find out that my case wasn't listed.

I heard also that there is no case listed for next week, so the at least the prosecutor kept this part of the promise. Later today, I received the letter confirming that I don't need to appear again. It's dated two days later than the adjournment letter I received last week, kind of amazing how long delivery within the same city can take.

So at least this episode of living in a police state worked out positive at the hand. Not only didn't I have to pay any fines, I guess at least Melbourne Bike Patrol will leave me alone when I'm unicycling. To quote my prosecutor: These matters are now finalised.

A lot of people, the kind of people that get provided with free air time in the mass media, outed their attitude towards democracy lately. The 21st century started nightmarish with American imperial ambitions, justified by the myth of all-mighty terrorism. Men wearing suits recklessly demolished human rights, erected invisible walls for the meeting of the global suit wearing elite in Sydney, ordered a continuation of the outrageous injustice thrown unto David Hicks, sold the public transport systems in Victoria to multi-national companies, and still treat the indigenous population of Australia as second class citizens, savages to be taken by the hand.

Men in suits bossed the governments of this planet into paying a ransom to bail them out of their losses, produced by irresponsible and reckless gambling with fantasy products. Men in suits want your vote to legitimate action they don't want to tell you. Men in suit now threaten Julian Assange, someone who helped taxpayers finding out how their money is spend behind their backs.

SBS jumps on the Anti-Human-Rights bandwagon

SBS secured the exclusive interview rights to an alleged people smuggler who used to live in Indonesia. Insight and SBS World News quote this 'expert' with statements Mr. Howard would happily comment with 'I told you so'.

According to the alleged trafficker, Australia is seen as a 'soft target', with processing done within 3 to 4 months, a road straight to citizenship and freebies galore. As Australia seems to keep the image of a Human Right respecting nation, although they got told off for the intervention, the permanent chase of the Australian Navy to intervene boat people, denying refugees from war zones with direct involvement of the ADF asylum, this is nothing than sales talk.

Trafficker make their money of the misery of refugees, a fate increased by the growing unwillingness of the 'western', 'civilized' world to grant asylum. The idea to remove misery of a population by starting a war on their territory has failed most of the time, it has failed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen. If a government 'cares' enough about people in distant countries, they might as well spend their money to invite them than to send their troops to destroy their lifelyhoods, and prevent them from escaping the war zone.

It's disappointing to see how the quality of SBS deteriorates. State TV in a corporatist state. Feeding the fear of others in the least densely populated industrialised nation on this planet is a shocking turn from journalism as control instance for the current powers towards a propaganda platform.

Information seems to be the biggest enemy of the current government. That's why it's based purely on trust, but not on accountability. Just ask the Black Saturday survivors how many promises this government kept. Ask anyone about the promises for Intervention, Offshore processing, health reform, education reform, tax reform, internet censorship, privatisation of public goods and services, improvement of infrastructure, child care or public transport reliability since privatization.

If a trafficker claims it's Australias open door policy that makes people leave their home we can easily forget about those killed when they were sent home, drowned on the way here, or live in an active warzone. I would vote to give Australia to the Australians, but hardly anyone would suspect that I mean the about 400 Aboriginal people that called their home before the declaration of 'Terra nullis' started an ongoing genocide.

My disdain with the corporate world was informed by personal experiences - I worked for international corporations and governments for a long time of my life. The amount of resources wasted in places like this seems quite unbelievable. It's OPM (other people's money), and therefore well suited to be generous with.

One corporate game is bullshit bingo - selling a project by using well sounding, but meaningless phrases. Public health is in a dire state in Australia, ambulances have to be paid for by the patient, indigenous Australians have a drastically shorter life expectation, some hospitals haven't been modernised for a half a century, foreign doctors are suspected as terrorists, or face leaving the country for having a handicapped child.

'Reform' is a favorite bullshit term for politicos, similar to 'reorganisation' in the corporate world. The normal function of the units 'reorganised' or 'reformed' gets disrupted, additional levels of management replace manpower for the core tasks of operation. I heard the myth that things operate more smoothly after a 'reform' or 'reorganisation', but I have yet to see this in real life.

The need for improvement of the health system is even perceived by the politicos, hence the 'health reform'. While my health related profession is still not paid for by medicare, not on the list of skilled jobs for immigration, mental and dental health patients mostly left on on their own devices, training for the health care sector still an elitist affair, the health reform bring the patients heaven to Australia. Or maybe I just got the bullshit bingo ad wrong.

If medicare was the first go at public health care, this simply means making the system finally work, after it stumbled along for decades. Most significant improvement sounds more impressive. A change in myki management could be advertised in similar terms: 'With the new management, myki will deliver the most significant improvement to our ticketing system since metcard.'

The first five words already alerted my bullshit detector, a 'new reform' set the starting tone to some newspeak muzak. A bunch of nice sounding promises, spiced up with meaningless and unquantifiable comparisons followed.

Besides the fact that I'd like to see how a reform delivers (I hope the reform has private health insurance for a safe delivery...) it just appeals to the favorite Australian 'betta' meme. As long as something is betta than the the neighbours, it doesn't matter how crappy, useless or outright stupid something is. The desalination plant is certainly betta than dehydration, it's just a solution ignoring alternative approaches which have been best practice in other parts of the world for decades.

More of the same, however, doesn't turn an inadequate system into a well working system. It's like improving the efficiency in using fossil fuels by driving more gas guzzling four-wheel drives... wait, that is the local attitude here. Cowshit is betta than dog shit, you can use cowshit as fuel, but hey, both are shit. Yeah, my shit is betta than yours! Wait, another quite typical attitude.

I'm sure the phrase 'Streamlining a system into a unified network' will appear on the many available bullshit generators on the web. With 'the dominant responsibility of the Australian government' a glimpse of truth shines through this propaganda piece, yet the supers hammer another lie home. How can the government's dominant responsibility bring 'greater local say'? And what's the role of 'health experts'? Isn't there a need for people practicing health care instead of more management following expert advice how to make more money?

There are many examples for propaganda in history. When governments resort to propaganda, democracy ceases to exist. Valuable money is spend to create the illusion of improvement, yet real life experiences contradict the happy world created by our 'representatives'. New strong national standards, wow. More helps more, strong standards lift the quality. New national standards imply a new level of bureaucracy, and prevent the promised greater local say.

The memes used in this waste of taxpayers money reflect the myth that more centralism will bring more efficiency. The Soviet Union provides a great example for the flaws of this approach. The US survived until now as a nation rather because of its federalistic approach although this process is reverted at the moment. Loss of local sovereignty is a trademark of global corporatism. Limiting the level of power for local communities transforms citizens into property of the corporations the government owes to.

Going into the community, and broadening the vision about health and sanity might improve the health care in this country. Health is beyond the expertise of politicians. A shift in responsibility in the health care system is needed, though. The patients need empowerment, and need to be educated about their own responsibility for the state of health they are in. Healthy people don't generate revenue for the sickness industry, that sells drugs, technology and bad advice. Healthy people might be as well immune against propaganda. Go betta, Australia. Politicians are the worst free loaders society has ever seen, if we can afford to feed them with a golden spoon, there's definitely more than enough resources to build a free and just community.

Living under a fascist regime

An unjust, abusive government still has a lot of interest to use the means of propaganda to preserve the image of being a democracy, with equal rights for all. It's simply unlikely that any leader turns around and bleakly states his disregard for the voting majority, only rarely those comments surface. But it takes just a little bit of thinking to unveil the ruling class in a so-called democracy as a bunch of hypocritical liars.

Today's news in SBS offered yet another chance to convince anyone capable of thinking for themselves that fascism has already arrived, and is here to stay. I just mention Israel's act of state terrorism (the murder of a Hamas leader in Dubai using forged Australian and other nations passports) as a sideline, and skip to the outrageous hypocrisy related to events closer to my temporary home.

Let's start instead with the Australian's government protection of corporate criminals. Not, I'm not referring to Richard Pratt, who was honoured with a state funeral for ripping off each and every Australian, that's old news. This time it's about Stern Hu, the Rio Tinto executive who has finally admitted taking bribes. Rio Tinto starts distancing themselves now from their manager, while Kevin Rudd doesn't look like he is ever going to excuse towards the Chinese government for whitewashing Hu without any other evidence for his innocence besides Hu's Australian passport and employment for a multinational company with Australian headquarters. Rudd ranted about the 'injust' judicial system in China, vouching for a now confessing criminal.

Considering the cases of David Hicks, Benbrika and Dr. Haneef it becomes obvious that the Australian judicial system no longer deserves to be called just, or even democratic. A country that abuses its own secret service to set up a terror cell, and then sends a patsy for an ASIO suggested thought crime for 20 years in prison has lost credibility in pointing out flaws of other countries legal system.

Fingerpointing, however, is typical strategy of fascist regimes, which no longer need a personalised flaghead like Hitler, Mussolini or Stalin. It's a systematical denial of responsibility for the removal of civil rights in their own country. Germany didn't invade Poland, they just defended themselves against the threatening invasion, at least according to their own propaganda. Australia doesn't neglect international rights of refugees when patrolling their Northern water, they just 'defend themselves against a flood of illegal immigrants', at least according to their official propaganda.

Which is the second outrageous bit of hypocrisy in today's news. While the ADF engages in two illegal wars that produce masses of refugees, Australia deny these refugees shelter. Now that's fascism pure. Not only do they destroy the livelyhood of people in other countries, they do their best to make the lives of those who escaped from the terror that was brought into their home countries even more miserable.

All of that happens in a country with the lowest population density in comparison to other industrialised nations, where imbecile politicians actively prevent intelligent solutions that could easily extend the opportunity to host more people. Fear, violence and paranoia are the services provided by the government for its population, while public assets have been handed over to international companies. But like in Germany 80 years ago, the general population is distracted by governmental propaganda and outright lies, and as long as citizens wait for historians to declare their country as corporatist state they happily pay ever more taxes for their own imprisonment and withdrawal of civil rights.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Australia is an exemption. Globalisation, and the development of technology, make it now possible to pervert the idea of democracy on a planetary scale, which makes it even more important that citizens reclaim their rights locally, instead of deluding themselves in the false security of pointing their fingers to other 'evil' societies. Ignorance helped Nazi-Germany flourish, and it has helped Australia converting into a corporate controlled political puppetry. And more TV and less free internet access complete the process to reinstate this continent as massive prison.

Have a look at paragraph (a)(ii). Compelling the government to act or abstain from acting is now terrorism. Protesting against wars in Afghanistan or Iraq? Terrorism. Protesting to make politicians accountable for their failings? Terrorism. Asking the government to end the Intervention? Terrorism. Asking the government to abstain from internet censorship? Terrorism. Protest against environmental rape such as Tasmania deforestation? Terrorism.

Politicos from the US, EU, Japan and Australia agreed on this declaration, which makes any form of civil movement (trying to compel governments and corporations to act responsibly) an act of terrorism. Even worse, anyone involved in organising a rally, the rental services providing PA's and transport, poster printers and distributors, stage hands, caterers, etc all can be treated like terrorists according to paragraph (b).

The war on citizens is it an advanced stage, now the US, Japan, EU and Australia join their efforts in criminalizing democratic methods. You might want to invest in Serco, one of the 'public' private partners that runs many of Australia's internment camps, among other public services. Or talk to your neighbor about ways to get rid of a fascist government without military intervention. Or dream on about living in a democratic state. Or follow your orders without thinking. Or distract yourself with sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. Or hope for an alien intervention to stop global corporatism. Or taking more responsibility for your action. Or do what you want.

Rules don't need to make sense to be enforced. Welcome to the corporatist 21st century, the post-democratic era.

Nicolette dares to dream about a time with no government, while this thought alone suffices to induce night mares and fear reaction in most people. However, would really so much change without government?

The promises of Certainty and Stability lure a lot of people into the firm belief in the necessity of government. The only certainty government brings is taxes, death comes for free. Stability is an illusion that contradicts human experience - again, death is the only 'stabilizing' factor in human experience.

Of course, people will die with no government as well. Building and maintaining communal infrastructure doesn't come for free either, but that's not an issue. Most people don't mind contributing to their community, unfortunately they trust governments to use their money wisely. Using the infrastructure built by taxes often costs extra: You still pay for Medicare, public transport, education and pension.

Many deaths could be avoided, though. Most obviously, those caused by the temporary insanity of governments called war. But governments have no power to shape society (unless they aim for fascism), they are just pawns of the global corporations. The legal systems of this planet empowered corporations to act in sheer self-interest, literally allowing them to walk over dead bodies.

Yet, no battle can and will bring down the sinister partnership of government and corporations. Only the desire for freedom opens the eyes for the uselessness of government. It doesn't take the saviour to dispel evil, it takes the will to responsibility from citizens to stop financing the useless and cruel game of party politics.

Any government that hides anything can not be trusted with anything. Do you rather trust your neighbor or a set of conventions to enslave the majority of people?

Global Whining

Our planet offers an amazing abundance, basis for all sort of life. All these life forms have co-evolved with their Umwelt, the climate being part of this Umwelt. Simply being alive means altering the enviroment, transforming food into energy for movement and into various metabolic byproducts.

The abundance of life-sustaining 'stuff' becomes fairly obvious when one considers the amount of energy currently used to propagate a global scare campaign about the climate. It's quite amazing to see how much pollution is created to squabble about global warming. If someone believes strongly that Co2 is the culprit for seemingly catastrophic climatic changes, why don't they use modern technology like video conferencing instead of physically traveling around, creating masses of Co2 in the process?

Which logic dictates that it's okay to destroy old growth forests, which are nature's carbon dioxide traps, when 'climate change' is of such importance? But logic and reason, so it seems, are not part of any proposed solution to the perceived problem.

Rhetorics dictate the media discourse, the old meme 'us vs them' makes 'climate change deniers' to Holocaust deniers, all the while none of the participants of official talks shows any sign of personal responsibility. Politicos claim scientists have found the truth, citizens trust into their politicos, especially if those don't follow their own opinion, but those of impeccable and infallible scientists.

That's right. In any given time of history, scientific knowledge was incomplete, and most assumptions and conclusions wrongly oversimplified. But now, in the 21st century, thanks brilliant fundamentalists like Dawkins, that has changed. Scientists stopped to err, like the Oracle of Delphi they cannot but tell the 'truth'. In earlier times of history saints channeled divine truth to their communities, now scientists are blessed with this job. Hurray, finally I can stop to think for myself, I just find a scientist to answer all my questions.

One of the factors that taints the credibility of contemporary science is the idea of causation. Let's take a simple example, a man stabbed with a knife in his heart. Obviously, the knife caused the death of the man, but it's not weapons, but people that kill people, so the 'cause of death' is the stabber. The 'stabber', however, is not primarily a cause of death, any investigator would look for a motive.

Neither the knife, nor the stabber, nor the combination of knife and stabber suffices as 'cause' for death. The amount of detail about the circumstances of that killing event is theoretically limitless, a judge would certainly require lots more than I made up on the spot to determine whether the deed will be penalised as murder, as man slaughter or as act of self-defense.

Any credible scientist will avoid stating any definite causal chain, as our planetary climate is a highly complex system. System theory as a discipline of science is less than a century old. Chaos theory, an offspring of system theory, became popular during the 1980s, and most definetely deserves consideration when attempting to make predictions about the climate. A 'young' science like that is highly prone to be wrong, new territory needs time for exploration before usable pathways are found.

Mankind is part of the 'finite' system planet Earth, and its activities, especially the technological aspects, affect the entire system. The pollution of man made industry spread through the atmosphere around the globe, it sounds retarded to deny human influence to its environment. Many cultures in history ended in ecological desasters, the lack of understanding of the interconnectedness of nature doomed many civilisations.

If mankind would want to learn from history, than treating nature with more respect must be the consequence. Indigenous people managed to survive for centuries, until globalisation destroyed the balance of their Umwelt. Only sustainable approaches to live with the natural environment succeeded, imposing control over nature with anthrocentric approaches always ended in doom.

It sounds quite hypocritical to claim that controlling CO2 emissions will avert an almost certain catastrophe. Most contemporary species have survived for millions of years on this planet, with about 30,000 years we have just started to use our survival potential as species on this planet. The thought of us (mankind) wiping ourselves off the planet in maybe only a century is way too pessimistic for me to buy into, although I certainly believe that we have the technological capacity to exterminate all human life on this planet.

But okay, let's assume for a second that reducing Co2 in the atmosphere will safe the planet. First priority then should be the preservation of existing 'carbon sinks', which is good old rain forest, saved from activists around the planet since the 1970's, nevertheless shrinking at an alarming rate. Instead of getting hyperactive simply doing less. Less rain forest killed means less heavy machinery running on fossil fuel, less global transport of those goods, and mainly a living ecosystem binding massive amounts of Co2.

And course, reducing emissions at the same time, or at least, not increasing them. Although I'm not a friend of nuclear power, generating energy in this way certainly wouldn't contribute to more Co2. Instead of hailing Iran for its nuclear program as spearhead for non-carbon based energy production, she is demonised. Instead using Australia's sunny predisposition to become world leader in solar technology, sun-deprived Germany, smaller than Victoria, generates more solar energy than entire Australia.

O wait, there's a catch. In global fascism nobody beats its own drum, all march in step. Those hippie ideas of saving forests and green technology creates too much autonomy, and require different solutions for different areas. Once the sheeple have grazed the idea of Co2 causation, their next meager meal is a hidden tax to finance a trading scheme.

The fear mongering in the name of science is already hard to swallow, but a positive influence of trading on the climate sounds like a pretty drug-crazed idea. It's a bit like reinventing the rain-dance, just in a suit, without music, dance and others to pick up the bill. Please, my local politico-parasite, present me a scientist to prove that trading cools this planet, and until then, stop the systematic rape of nature in this country.

Torturing for peace

Barak Obama, president of the once glorious United States of America, has been awarded with the Nobel prize for Peace. The magic negro strikes again. A Republican commented that Obama got this prize for his 'awesomeness', and, besides any more sinister explanations, this seems like the main motivation.

So what has Obama done (besides being awesome, especially as a speaker) to deserve this honour? Nothing. What has he done to make this peace prize one of cruelest farces of the 21st century? Heaps.

The US continues to have military bases in nearly 100 foreign countries (no blame for Obama here, just establish the warlord status). The US has invaded two countries in the 21st contury (no blame here either for Obama), and continues to occupy them, and has no plan to pay reparations for the damages done to these countries. O, I nearly forgot about the covert war in Pakistan... The Bush administration systematically used torture and deployed legislation with a spirit that predates the Dark Middle Ages, and Obama continues to run torture camps like Guantanamo Bay, Bagram and Abu Ghraib.

So what makes someone who talks about change but continues a system of injustice, war and violence worthy of receiving the Nobel Prize for Peace? That he didn't 'officially' invade another country in his first year as POTUS, although the US foreign policy of this millenium has killed and displaced millions of people, but that he kept the US invasion in northern Pakistan under cover? That he kept the peace with the global banking crooks by paying billions of dollar as bailout ransom?

It's kind of cynical that the most belligerent part of nations (the 'western' cultures) nominate a 'peace' prize. Violence has replaced diplomacy, reason vanished
from international politics, paranoid angst dominates. At least the lies that led to the invasion of Iraq are in the public domain now, yet this has not changed anything about the attitude towards the bizarre status quo.

I got it now. Obma deserves the peace prize because he brings peace of mind. When I close my eyes and listen to his reassuring, dynamic, charismatic voice, and just believe what I hear, beautiful images emerges. The cries of pain, desperation, humiliation of tortured souls in US prison camps get muted, the blood soaked soil fertilized a colourful field of wild flowers, the bomb aatacks, fighter strikes and skirmishes become part of a Bruce Willis movie, without a screen to be even recognised, the stench of carbit, blood and rotten flesh transforms into the joyous smell of freedom and democracy. That's it. Obama brought peace of mind to those who are blind to facts.

Man, I'm glad that I took some time to vent my anger about this bit of news. I mean, without thinking about it at a deeper level I could have gotten stuck with my anger, instead of discovering the evil geniality in this nomination. It's all a show, and global politics reflects the assumptions of our dominators.

Shortly after this millenium began, the US went on a global rampage to sponsor their war industry and to secure energy supplies. The ignorance towards international law and human rights wss demonstrated by creating a legislation that would have made Nazi Germany proud: Rendition, Military Commissions Act, sub-human terror suspects, torture instruction devised by higher parts of the administration.

The trouble is, history has yet to uncover the role of the US military-industrial complex as muscle for global corporatism. While the US empire reigns, only communists, islamists, conspirologists and other forms of terrorists dare to interpret world events in this way. More than million dead Iraqis, health professionals supervising torture techniques in camps banned from UN inspection, US military fighting in Pakistan are presented as inevitable byproducts. Temporary insanity.

Propaganda has reached the global stage. Countries act only as umbrella for global corporatism. International cooperation allowed for centuries, if not millenia to circumvent undesirable local conditions. Dyncorp, Halliburton, Blackwater and the likes have sponsored both sides of the political game, as long as the wars go on, their revenues continue to grow. The corporate monster identifies a target, and then gangs up on them, often led by the US or Israel. Global media ties allow to delude the population of the gang member countries (coalition of the willing, eg) with similar bullshit.

That's how the GFC happened. Each country needed their 'own' ways to pay the ransom money, and how to justify this blatant redistribution of taxes. Picture this: A skinny, heroin addicted street hooker (the economy). Her pimp (the global banking industry) gambled the money for her heroin away, Economy trembles and shakes from the withdrawal and attracts less business. Not enough for the next shot, a seemingly vicious cycle. But no pimp is a loner, and so he asks his friends (heads of national governments) for help. Can't you give me some money for dope from your taxpayers? I can't use her in that state! You're doing something for her health. That's how you can sell it to your sheeple.

With more heroin pulsing through her veins, Economy can stand on her feet again. ALthough still jittery, her skilled hands bring her regular customers (the global-in-local-in-global markets) up. The Market's cum spurts into the media, mystified by newspeak. The stimulus packet has revived the market.

O my Ganesh, another good reason for Obama's peace prize. That was his birth as magickal negro, 'solving the financial crisis'. Do torture camps and wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan really matter in comparison?

War is peace. That's our dominators attitude, and that's why warlord Obama got the Nobel prize for Peace.

Role of Health Professionals in Torture

Health professionals played central roles in developing, im-
plementing and providing justification for torture.

Health professionals in the Office of Medical Services and
psychologist contractors engaged in designing and monitoring
harmful interrogation techniques. Such medical participation
in torture is a clear violation of medical ethics. Furthermore,
health professionals were complicit in selecting and then ra-
tionalizing these abusive methods whose safety and efficacy
in eliciting accurate information have no valid basis in sci-
ence. The severe physical and psychological pain and endur-
ing harms associated with these techniques make it evident that
they constitute torture and ill treatment. Monitoring of
interrogation techniques by medical professionals to determine their
effectiveness uses detainees as human subjects without their
consent, and thus also approaches unlawful experimentation.

The Group of 20 fear-mongering nations meets again. Nobody elected them. A lot of people don't want them meeting in their country. The secrecy around these talks smells like organised crime. No, it rather stinks like mafia.

GFC

The 21st century repeats most stupidities in history, just with more modern methods. The ability to torture, kill, blackmail and abuse regular people has increased, which throws human rights back to an all time low (or at least since the 'civilised world' came up with the meme 'human rights').

While the meme of hope still awaits desperately to become a tangible reality, another fear meme infects the planet. The Geriatric Freak Club came up with GFC as synonym for Global Financial Crisis in a desperate attempt to produce more smoke to hide the arsonists responsible for the slowdown in economy.

Capitalism ostensibly gives everyone the chance the succeed, but this word does not in any way describe the functionality of global economic systems. Lack of accountability in politics and corporations inevitably leads to fascism, or how Mussolini called it, corporatism.

'Bailing out' failed commercial enterprises with taxpayers money just redistributes wealth from the bottom to the top, society as a whole loses. No one bails out house owners who suffer from the tight grip around the neck, exerted by the global banking system.

After abusing their powers to print money to setting up absurd, risky and pyramid-scheme like 'financial products', the banks now sulk over their self-produced failures. But being outside any governmental, or even democratic control, the banks use their remaining financial and propaganda power to distract from a system that cannot work in favour of all participants.

The Australian government granted Pacific Brands $17 million, out of which $7 million increased the pay of the executive staff (yeah right, those people who fucked up their business in first place). The amount of unjustified assumptions that shines through the commentary made me laugh a lot, and sad at the same time.

One head parasite of the GFC said:

I think the workers are right to be absolutely furious with their management, and certainly their management has got a lot of explaining to do.

What a consolation, Mr. Swan. 1800 workers lost their jobs, after the government doubled the executive's pay with taxpayers money. Now, jobless and with some drastic consequences for their livelyhood, allowing their anger might distract them from the corrupt government preposterously claiming to work for them as well.

Now, after the damage has happened, the GFC will 'look into all options' to prevent that unconditionally handed over tax payers money ends up in a few pockets. What about confessing that the bailout idea simply cannot work? What about a simple sorry?

'Looking into all options' takes time, so probably nobody notices how much money the government pumps into the criminal Connex connection, or the feudalistic banking industry. 'Looking into all options' means having a club of 'experts' jabbering for week and months, and coming back with results only if the problem still has some public attention.

The result is highly predictable: If Australia wants to be competitive on the global market place, the government really can't do too much. The 'golden parachute', another meme on the rise in the 21st century, cannot be taken away from those poor creatures that feel only born to command, but not to work. Err, sorry, we really deeply looked into this, but there's nothing to be done. Thanks for the fish.

Our global monetary system lacks sustainability, it needs collapses to remain 'stable' for short periods of time. As long as the basic structure of this system remains untouched, it will continue to work as designed: Concentrating this planets wealth in the hand of a few.

Nobody told the Germans during Hitler's times that they were living in a evil fascist country. You need to understand the structure of the union of government and corporations to detect fascism at home, or wait until a 'liberator' installs the next flavor of pathocracy and declares the prior order of things fascist.

No such thing as free lunch?

The corporate media excels in fear mongering (does it really have any other purpose?), the uncritical media consumer hears dreadful stories about the global economic crisis, bailouts, billions of losses and other memes with little to no relation to perceivable realities.

Money is not an issue, it's just a sort of energy storage/transformation system. All that billions of different currencies that have been 'lost' in the 'economic turmoil' have never existed, unless you grant volatile digital information a similar status like your pet or your neighbor.

Unfortunately, in our times of global dementia, the maintainers of this digital information use the advantage of having being able to redistribute real wealth like property, land and media access for centuries to disguise this simple fact.

The plan to dispossess the majority of this planets population in order to own them as cheap source of labour and entertainment continues unimpeded, the current invented crisis just speeds up the process. While mass media complains about greed and bludgers, nothing is done to stop those greedy bludgers in high places.

There is no such thing as a free lunch, even the Murdochs, Packers, Pratts, Rockefellers and so on had to corrupt politicians systematically to install systems to accumulate their wealth on the expense of an entire planet. Yet the return of investment for being allied to the global mafia that uses its muscles named IMF, World Bank, G20, etc. to prevent sucessfully freedom and democracy outperforms mold in destroying its source of food.

Representative 'democracy' is a no-win game for those forced to play along, they simply cannot affort to lobby politico-parasites into submission. The imaginary economic crisis will affect probably millions of people, but we will see no single Wall Street banker lining up for dole money - governments rather spend taxpayers money for golden dole-handshakes.

In times of corporate socialism (or corporatism, or fascism) the dole bludgers are easy to spot: They appear on TV and ask for more government, more support for failing banks, and blame individuals yet never themselves. The matrix in action.

Julia Gillard, the o so empowered female Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, wants more performance checks for schools. "I think we need to understand in a much more sophisticated way what's going on in schools. And I think the more information that enables people to understand it in a sophisticated way, the better."

Performance checks have become the latest craze in corporate madness, yet not every interaction is quantifyable. Basic literacy and numeracy skills, subject to Julia's desire to measure more, should not take 10 years to teach. However, measuring performance of a poorly designed system does not yield any valuable information. The results can either confirm the bad state of the system (if students manage to leave school illiterate, it proves major deficiences) or even worse, they can show "that it's all not that bad".

Did we know more by counting dead birds after the Exxon Valdez accident? The low official body count in the Iraq war does not change the fact of an illegal invasion. Measuring does not always help to gather useful data, to the contrary. Scales for grown, yet undesigned system like the education system, can only be arbitrary. As long as the goals for education lack an agreed and reasonable definition, performance checks provide nothing.

The implementation of this splendid plan requires plenty of consulting and administration, another project to redistribute tax money in friend's pockets. How many education units does an average teacher successfully to her/his students? Can the students still be herded in bigger classes? How much mandatory donation can parents contribute?

Meanwhile, kids leave school that cannot read.

Corporate takeover

A world government would never consist of democratically elected politicians, but of a selected group of well connected people. We see this process already clearly happening in the European Union, that slowly turns into an entirely uncontrollable governmental entity, already with its own police, secret service and soon army.

The US faces a different change in its sovereignity with the North American Union. The biggest and more immediate threat, however, consists of Bush preparations for Martial Law. Besides creating heaps of bills that basically make him dictator, the FBI created with Infragard the logistics for a violent takeover.
