PsyOp gone viral

If you want to learn about PsyOps, some contemporary event offers a splendid opportunity. Anyone still exposing themselves on a regular basis to the mind numbing mass media has been exposed to the latest talking point the dominator society threw into the global memepool: The anti-muslim movie.

Although I spend too much time on the internet, I didn't came across the source of all this hodge-podge of events until now. Many demonstration in front of embassies happened, even with some death casualties. The Sydney demonstration against the anti-islam movie made a headline in the Sunday Herald Sun: "Why police was FORCED to use violence against protestors".

Within 4 days, the cause of the latest global media storm had gone viral, with more 4 million views. It appeared in my youtube suggestion (without a user profile), so I watched it.

My first reaction was similar to reading Hitler's Mein Kampf - I didn't really fancy going through all the abysmal bs. However, 13 minutes of watching a video are easier to cope with than reading a  book filled with racist slur, so I persisted.

Although the video suggest very amateurish origins, it bears rather the hallmarks of some professional production. There's quite a large cast involved, about 10 different actors, with some good props (swords, tents) and lots of bluescreen technology. Most movie production methods have become much more affordable with Open Software, nevertheless the lighting, costumes and bluescreen suggest at least a semi-professional studio and a decent amount of money went into this movie.

Most surprising for me, having a youtube channel myself, was the speed in which it was recognised, in parts of the world which seem to be less internet-hooked than the western world. The uploader, DarkF3TT. had done some game captures of First-person shooter games, showing his abilities to do head shots.

I can't really tell how much of gamer's culture exists in the places where US embassies were torched, but somehow the idea of being a devout and radical muslim and playing video games heroising US based kill missions seems odd. The gamers I met in Australia were certainly impregnated with unconditional nationalism, extended to the big brother US.

As video games allow one to identify with the game character, I wonder how many people living in places that ostensibly have to hate the US would spend their free time impersonating US heroes liberating the world from evil Nazis and communists.

So how on earth did the people taking it to the street find out that this despicable peace of religious smear existed in first place? And how did they find out, before the global mass media picked up on the reactions?

Of course, it fits much better into the discourse that has been started to talk about religion, extremism, or any other topic suggested the main stream media than asking more obvious questions. The people I talked to about this had, like me by then, not seen or noticed the 'offending' video.

The obvious questions, however, make it look like a psyop. Nothing on the internet gets viral until its gets promoted to sufficient multipliers. Without someone embedded in a group sufficiently radicalised to push their noses into this pile of racist bullshit this video would have had the same fate as youtube video on a fairly unpopular/unknown youtube channel - not even getting more than 100 views.

Once people started protesting, the promotion worked out, and more than 4 million views happened. And as long as people don't care about how it kicked off, the media discourse fosters the divide and conquer meme.

SBS jumps on the Anti-Human-Rights bandwagon

SBS secured the exclusive interview rights to an alleged people smuggler who used to live in Indonesia. Insight and SBS World News quote this 'expert' with statements Mr. Howard would happily comment with 'I told you so'.

According to the alleged trafficker, Australia is seen as a 'soft target', with processing done within 3 to 4 months, a road straight to citizenship and freebies galore. As Australia seems to keep the image of a Human Right respecting nation, although they got told off for the intervention, the permanent chase of the Australian Navy to intervene boat people, denying refugees from war zones with direct involvement of the ADF asylum, this is nothing than sales talk.

Trafficker make their money of the misery of refugees, a fate increased by the growing unwillingness of the 'western', 'civilized' world to grant asylum. The idea to remove misery of a population by starting a war on their territory has failed most of the time, it has failed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen. If a government 'cares' enough about people in distant countries, they might as well spend their money to invite them than to send their troops to destroy their lifelyhoods, and prevent them from escaping the war zone.

It's disappointing to see how the quality of SBS deteriorates. State TV in a corporatist state. Feeding the fear of others in the least densely populated industrialised nation on this planet is a shocking turn from journalism as control instance for the current powers towards a propaganda platform.

Information seems to be the biggest enemy of the current government. That's why it's based purely on trust, but not on accountability. Just ask the Black Saturday survivors how many promises this government kept. Ask anyone about the promises for Intervention, Offshore processing, health reform, education reform, tax reform, internet censorship, privatisation of public goods and services, improvement of infrastructure, child care or public transport reliability since privatization.

If a trafficker claims it's Australias open door policy that makes people leave their home we can easily forget about those killed when they were sent home, drowned on the way here, or live in an active warzone. I would vote to give Australia to the Australians, but hardly anyone would suspect that I mean the about 400 Aboriginal people that called their home before the declaration of 'Terra nullis' started an ongoing genocide.

Bullshit bingo

My disdain with the corporate world was informed by personal experiences - I worked for international corporations and governments for a long time of my life. The amount of resources wasted in places like this seems quite unbelievable. It's OPM (other people's money), and therefore well suited to be generous with.

One corporate game is bullshit bingo - selling a project by using well sounding, but meaningless phrases. Public health is in a dire state in Australia, ambulances have to be paid for by the patient, indigenous Australians have a drastically shorter life expectation, some hospitals haven't been modernised for a half a century, foreign doctors are suspected as terrorists, or face leaving the country for having a handicapped child.

'Reform' is a favorite bullshit term for politicos, similar to 'reorganisation' in the corporate world. The normal function of the units 'reorganised' or 'reformed' gets disrupted, additional levels of management replace manpower for the core tasks of operation. I heard the myth that things operate more smoothly after a 'reform' or 'reorganisation', but I have yet to see this in real life.

The need for improvement of the health system is even perceived by the politicos, hence the 'health reform'. While my health related profession is still not paid for by medicare, not on the list of skilled jobs for immigration, mental and dental health patients mostly left on on their own devices, training for the health care sector still an elitist affair, the health reform bring the patients heaven to Australia. Or maybe I just got the bullshit bingo ad wrong.

FVO: Under the new health reform, the Australian Government is delivering the most significant improvement to our health system since the introduction of Medicare.
[We open on a blue line on a piece of paper. We see more lines, they take shape, illustrating a woman’s eye.]

If medicare was the first go at public health care, this simply means making the system finally work, after it stumbled along for decades. Most significant improvement sounds more impressive. A change in myki management could be advertised in similar terms: 'With the new management, myki will deliver the most significant improvement to our ticketing system since metcard.'

The first five words already alerted my bullshit detector, a 'new reform' set the starting tone to some newspeak muzak. A bunch of nice sounding promises, spiced up with meaningless and unquantifiable comparisons followed.

FVO: By providing more hospital beds…
[We see the illustration turn into a real photo of a woman in a hospital bed, nursing her newborn.]

FVO: …training more doctors and nurses...
[We see another line drawing of a group of young doctors. The illustration turns into a real photograph.]

FVO: …and expanding the number of GP services…
[We see another illustration, of a young boy being seen by GP. This also turns into a photo.]

FVO: …it will deliver better health and better hospitals.
[We see another illustration of a young (16-20) woman talking to her doctor. This too resolves through to a real photo.]
Besides the fact that I'd like to see how a reform delivers (I hope the reform has private health insurance for a safe delivery...) it just appeals to the favorite Australian 'betta' meme. As long as something is betta than the the neighbours, it doesn't matter how crappy, useless or outright stupid something is. The desalination plant is certainly betta than dehydration, it's just a solution ignoring alternative approaches which have been best practice in other parts of the world for decades.

More of the same, however, doesn't turn an inadequate system into a well working system. It's like improving the efficiency in using fossil fuels by driving more gas guzzling four-wheel drives... wait, that is the local attitude here. Cowshit is betta than dog shit, you can use cowshit as fuel, but hey, both are shit. Yeah, my shit is betta than yours! Wait, another quite typical attitude.

FVO: For the first time the Australian Government will take dominant funding responsibility for our health system.
[Our point of view moves out so that we see an aerial view, indicating the vast network across the country.]

FVO: The reform will cut inefficiencies by streamlining many systems into a unified network, with guaranteed funding…
[The lines link and join the whole network as one.]

[Super: Cut inefficiencies.]

FVO: …it’ll be run locally, giving local senior doctors and health experts a greater say.

[Then, different points on the map light up, one by one. ]

[Super: Greater local say.]

I'm sure the phrase 'Streamlining a system into a unified network' will appear on the many available bullshit generators on the web. With 'the dominant responsibility of the Australian government' a glimpse of truth shines through this propaganda piece, yet the supers hammer another lie home. How can the government's dominant responsibility bring 'greater local say'? And what's the role of 'health experts'? Isn't there a need for people practicing health care instead of more management following expert advice how to make more money?

FVO: …and by introducing new strong national standards, it will deliver a higher quality of care in the city and country.
[All of the points and the lines light up at exactly the same time.]

[Super: Strong national standards.]

FVO: Health Reform. For better healthcare and better hospitals.

[We pull out to reveal the illustration of the network spells the words ‘Health Reform’.]

[This resolves through to the logo and super.]

[Logo/Super: Health Reform. Better healthcare and better hospitals. Government Crest.
australia.gov.au/yourhealth]

FVO: For more information about the improvements, as they happen, go to australia.gov.au/yourhealth

[Cut to a black screen with white type.]

There are many examples for propaganda in history. When governments resort to propaganda, democracy ceases to exist. Valuable money is spend to create the illusion of improvement, yet real life experiences contradict the happy world created by our 'representatives'. New strong national standards, wow. More helps more, strong standards lift the quality. New national standards imply a new level of bureaucracy, and prevent the promised greater local say.

The memes used in this waste of taxpayers money reflect the myth that more centralism will bring more efficiency. The Soviet Union provides a great example for the flaws of this approach. The US survived until now as a nation rather because of its federalistic approach although this process is reverted at the moment. Loss of local sovereignty is a trademark of global corporatism. Limiting the level of power for local communities transforms citizens into property of the corporations the government owes to.

Going into the community, and broadening the vision about health and sanity might improve the health care in this country. Health is beyond the expertise of politicians. A shift in responsibility in the health care system is needed, though. The patients need empowerment, and need to be educated about their own responsibility for the state of health they are in. Healthy people don't generate revenue for the sickness industry, that sells drugs, technology and bad advice. Healthy people might be as well immune against propaganda. Go betta, Australia. Politicians are the worst free loaders society has ever seen, if we can afford to feed them with a golden spoon, there's definitely more than enough resources to build a free and just community.

Torturing for peace

Barak Obama, president of the once glorious United States of America, has been awarded with the Nobel prize for Peace. The magic negro strikes again. A Republican commented that Obama got this prize for his 'awesomeness', and, besides any more sinister explanations, this seems like the main motivation.

So what has Obama done (besides being awesome, especially as a speaker) to deserve this honour? Nothing. What has he done to make this peace prize one of cruelest farces of the 21st century? Heaps.

The US continues to have military bases in nearly 100 foreign countries (no blame for Obama here, just establish the warlord status). The US has invaded two countries in the 21st contury (no blame here either for Obama), and continues to occupy them, and has no plan to pay reparations for the damages done to these countries. O, I nearly forgot about the covert war in Pakistan... The Bush administration systematically used torture and deployed legislation with a spirit that predates the Dark Middle Ages, and Obama continues to run torture camps like Guantanamo Bay, Bagram and Abu Ghraib.

So what makes someone who talks about change but continues a system of injustice, war and violence worthy of receiving the Nobel Prize for Peace? That he didn't 'officially' invade another country in his first year as POTUS, although the US foreign policy of this millenium has killed and displaced millions of people, but that he kept the US invasion in northern Pakistan under cover? That he kept the peace with the global banking crooks by paying billions of dollar as bailout ransom?

It's kind of cynical that the most belligerent part of nations (the 'western' cultures) nominate a 'peace' prize. Violence has replaced diplomacy, reason vanished
from international politics, paranoid angst dominates. At least the lies that led to the invasion of Iraq are in the public domain now, yet this has not changed anything about the attitude towards the bizarre status quo.

I got it now. Obma deserves the peace prize because he brings peace of mind. When I close my eyes and listen to his reassuring, dynamic, charismatic voice, and just believe what I hear, beautiful images emerges. The cries of pain, desperation, humiliation of tortured souls in US prison camps get muted, the blood soaked soil fertilized a colourful field of wild flowers, the bomb aatacks, fighter strikes and skirmishes become part of a Bruce Willis movie, without a screen to be even recognised, the stench of carbit, blood and rotten flesh transforms into the joyous smell of freedom and democracy. That's it. Obama brought peace of mind to those who are blind to facts.

Man, I'm glad that I took some time to vent my anger about this bit of news. I mean, without thinking about it at a deeper level I could have gotten stuck with my anger, instead of discovering the evil geniality in this nomination. It's all a show, and global politics reflects the assumptions of our dominators.

Shortly after this millenium began, the US went on a global rampage to sponsor their war industry and to secure energy supplies. The ignorance towards international law and human rights wss demonstrated by creating a legislation that would have made Nazi Germany proud: Rendition, Military Commissions Act, sub-human terror suspects, torture instruction devised by higher parts of the administration.

The trouble is, history has yet to uncover the role of the US military-industrial complex as muscle for global corporatism. While the US empire reigns, only communists, islamists, conspirologists and other forms of terrorists dare to interpret world events in this way. More than million dead Iraqis, health professionals supervising torture techniques in camps banned from UN inspection, US military fighting in Pakistan are presented as inevitable byproducts. Temporary insanity.

Propaganda has reached the global stage. Countries act only as umbrella for global corporatism. International cooperation allowed for centuries, if not millenia to circumvent undesirable local conditions. Dyncorp, Halliburton, Blackwater and the likes have sponsored both sides of the political game, as long as the wars go on, their revenues continue to grow. The corporate monster identifies a target, and then gangs up on them, often led by the US or Israel. Global media ties allow to delude the population of the gang member countries (coalition of the willing, eg) with similar bullshit.

That's how the GFC happened. Each country needed their 'own' ways to pay the ransom money, and how to justify this blatant redistribution of taxes. Picture this: A skinny, heroin addicted street hooker (the economy). Her pimp (the global banking industry) gambled the money for her heroin away, Economy trembles and shakes from the withdrawal and attracts less business. Not enough for the next shot, a seemingly vicious cycle. But no pimp is a loner, and so he asks his friends (heads of national governments) for help. Can't you give me some money for dope from your taxpayers? I can't use her in that state! You're doing something for her health. That's how you can sell it to your sheeple.

With more heroin pulsing through her veins, Economy can stand on her feet again. ALthough still jittery, her skilled hands bring her regular customers (the global-in-local-in-global markets) up. The Market's cum spurts into the media, mystified by newspeak. The stimulus packet has revived the market.

O my Ganesh, another good reason for Obama's peace prize. That was his birth as magickal negro, 'solving the financial crisis'. Do torture camps and wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan really matter in comparison?

War is peace. That's our dominators attitude, and that's why warlord Obama got the Nobel prize for Peace.

Conspiracy again

Debunking conspiracy theories gets a bit more elegant. Four Corners showed a BBC program 'debunking' a specific consiracy video called 7/7 ripple effect. Like always, the art lies in omission of some of the most mysterious aspects of this attack, combined with ad hominem attacks against some of the producers of these kind of videos that 'undermine the trust in government', and of course a lot emotional appeals.

To be honest, I don't care too much about what exactly happened on the 7th of July 2003 in London. From what I can tell for sure, about 50 people died in 3 three nearly simultaneous bombings on the subway, a forth bomb exploded about an hour later on a bus. I don't condone terror attacks in any way, yet I try to be as compassionate about the loss of innocent life as I can. On that day not only 50 people fell victim to this bomb attack, but about 27,000 children died to maintain global capitalism, like today, and any other day in this century. That's roughly 10 million children each year, sacrificed on the altar of the cruel game of real-life capitalist monopoly.

So if something really sickens me, it's the blatant ignorance of the casualties of the greed of those in power, and unlike terrorism, no government I know of jumps frantically into action to ease this silent, permanent suffering. Here in Australia, corporate sponsors of Saddam Hussein, won't even be held responsible for their immoral behaviour which most likely financed death and torture of much more than 50 people. In case you have no idea what I'm referring to, feel free to refresh your memory of the AWB scandal.

While the corporate war against everyone not born with a golden spoon in their mouth unimpeded continues, ABC raises awareness about the dangers of 'conspiracies'. And it does so in weird ways. One of key points of the 7/7 conspiracies is the allegation that the bombs in the subway were attached underneath the train. The only visual evidence shown in this mockumentary is a hole in a train carriage with metal bending upwards, while the commentary refers to eye witness accounts claiming the opposite. I can't tell whether this shot shows one of the targeted trains, if so, it proves simply an explosion from underneath.

Charles de Menezes found no mentioning at all. No surprise, as this mockumentary aimed in reinstating the myth of the goodness of government, the execution of an innocent man in public by the Metropolitan Police could raise some doubts about the infallibility of the governments attacks to protect life. The lies of Blair government, which supported the US invasion in Iraq, remain unmentioned as well. Why should the viewer be confused by a government willingly killing much more than 50 people in a foreign country with all its military might in a foreign country, when this piece of 'edutainment' wants to prove its undoubtable goodness?

Australia introduced thought crimes into its legislation, and the fear of terror needs reaffirmation. That seem the motivation to dig up some of the more bizarre conspiracy theories floating through the internet. It's all a matter of trust. Trust the mighty, trust the coalition of the willing, which has killed more than a million people in this young century (of course, exclusively in other countries.....), yet fear the highly inefficient 'terrorists', which didn't even kill 10,000 people in the cradle of violently enforced capitalism. And ignore ten thousands of starving kids daily, ongoing genocides throughout the world of indigenous people for psychopathic corporations.

What a wonderful, wonderful world.

Thought crimes

Manson, portrayed at his trial as a drug-crazed loner with mesmerizing powers of persuasion, ordered devotees to carry out random killings in wealthy white neighborhoods in an effort to trigger an apocalyptic race war.
Not many newspapers use 34 words in a single sentence, using 6 adjectives to colour their message. The Age obviously caters for an educated audience, capable of digesting this abstract description. The Herald Sun would have probably used more specific details, Manson's piercing, dark, gloomy eyes, Acid-head, violent blood-spattering killings, and so on.

This educated audience can easily identify with living in a wealthy white neighborhood, and most likely picks up on the religious connotations of the expression 'devotee'. Oh my fascist god, religiously misled drug-crazies randomly killing in white neighborhoods! This over-simplified implication distracts a bit from the frog-leaps in reasoning connected to the Manson case.

The Age calls Manson a mass-murderer, even though he had not committed any of murders he got accused of, and he did not kill Sharon Tate. Hidden in the middle of this propaganda piece we can find out about Manson's crime: He ordered his 'devotees' to carry out random killings.

After heaps of fear inducing ramblings the powers of reasoning of the typical audience will linger somewhere in the basement, neglecting habitually the quest for facts, which are admittedly relatively sparse in most mass media products. So let's get back to the facts: Manson ordered his devotees to carry out killings. This time only, we step back from the fear of living in a target area, instead, we play crime writer and try to see the perpetrators perspective.

The Age offers a bit of help in elucidating (or rather clouding) the 'how' of Manson's crime: he used his mesmerising powers of persuasion (which obviously failed the judge and jury badly during his trial). We won't find out any more this mesmerising powers, especially how Manson, a drug-crazed loner, acquired this extraordinary interpersonal skills.

How does one order a murder usually? That depends a lot on the moral compass underlying the definition of murder. I consider sending troops into a foreign country 'ordering murder', I don't subscribe to the inevitable loss of innocent life in war situation as 'casualties'. I also have no problem calling the death sentence ordered murder.

While the former forms of 'order to carry out murders' are not covered by any judicial system I know of, hiring a hitman certainly fits both mine and legal systems understanding of this offense. Murder for money encompasses a commercial transaction (henchmen and soldiers get paid....), and holding both sides of the contract responsible seems totally justified.

Manson did not pay any money, he used his 'mesmerising powers of persuasion' to 'order random killings'. If I had a dollar for each time I heard somebody in a pub or similar situation expressing his desire to randomly kill someone, I would be very, very rich. I had no need to work for the rest of my life if the same would apply to media products - each time Rudd justifies the random murders in Afghanistan would fill my account.

Rudd doesn't use mesmerising powers to order random killings, but a large administration and a sanitising language that disguises killings as casualties. All the promises to minimise loss of civilian life failed badly in the 21st century, more than a million killed Iraqis, hundred thousands of dead Afghanis confirm a lesson from history persistently ignored: Each war involves terror acts against a civilian population.

The 'how' of Charles Manson evil crime remains a mystery. As a pacifist, I despise every war, and I certainly feel absolutely unattracted by the idea of an 'apocalyptic race war'. The perspective of fighting in a war does not stop many Australian from joining the army, it seems like some people want to be in a war situation (the recruitment ad's of Australia war machinery make it look a bit like a bunch of high-tech salvos, and leave out the bloody bits).

'Apocalyptic race war' seems to make no sense, this term reminds me a lot of Palestine. Any war is unreasonable, the sad fact that mankind hasn't abandoned this evolutionary obstacle shows the lack of importance of reason in affairs of society. Any war requires various leaps of faith, usually explained with COWDUNG (conventional wisdom of the dominating group).

Benbrika ostensibly planned a 'war on Australian people', with essential support from ASIO. Given their lack of talent in producing terror weapons, it's hard to say whether these people were sufficiently mesmerised by the persuasive powers of Australia secret terror force to go all the way. Nothing but a thought crime. Killing someone is by far not easy, some biologists claim the existence of a 'pre-programmed' inhibition for interspecies killing (that's why war propagandists use a language that dehumanises their victims, killing vermin is easier than killing humans).

Manson did less than ASIO, he didn't provided training, intelligence, money and weapons. As a 'drug-crazed loner' he most likely ranted a lot about his ideas about society with his 'family', which mostly fits into the description of criminal organisation. I'm still mesmerised by the distortion of facts, and the shameless fear mongering of The Age, but not powerfully persuaded by their vilification of Manson.

Episode 420. Say no more. Say no more.

Friday, March 06, 2009

"It may be human nature to lie, but it's written all over our face." "The truth is written all over our faces." "Tha average person lies three times per ten minutes in conversation." "We all look the same when we lie." "Everything you see in this show is grounded in actual science." "When you're dishonest, your body shows it."

I think I missed some of the most outrageous lies sprouted in the trailer for the drama series "Lie to me" by the fair and balanced FOX network. With impunity FOX claims that everyone is the same, and I wonder why FOX wants to promote such subversive, 'communist' thoughts.

Psychology knows the phenomenon of a 'pathological liar', and it's part of the education within intelligence services to learn to inhibit typical bodily reactions towards 'telling lies'. Science has shown already that some people can escape from even the most advanced forms of 'lie detection'. However, the implicit lie sold as byproduct has even more hazardous consequences.

Nothing less than Dawkin's dogma of the existence of an objectively observable truth shines through the series of deceptive trailers, "grounded in actual science". The cage of Aristotelian logic allows FOX to give us a double whammy: Disinformation about deceptive behaviour and reinforcement of limiting beliefs.

Being aware of a lie needs empathy. If I don't know or notice that I potentially hurt/abuse/use another person by telling my unshared and/or unsubstantiated perspective of events, why should I care? An empathic human being would certainly hesitate before taking a decision that kills innocent life. Bush and Blair propagated a lie (according to facts), with predictable fatal consequences.

Deception exists a lot in nature. Chameleons change their colour, orchids mimic the appearance of horny insects, fish lure their prey with fake bait, etc. Stealth, observance, strength, speed and deception keep predators alive.

Let's do the crazy thing of comparing the successful strategies of predatory animals with the structures of government.

Stealth. Wild cats hide in the vegetation, often have camouflage pattern on their fur, and approach their prey against the wind. The prey feels safe until an immediate attack. Governments have intelligence agencies, which infiltrate social movements, collect and collate all sorts of individual data, all unaccountable to the general public. Let's call the least subtle form of stealth 'national security'.

Observance. Crocodiles just poke their eyes out of the water, using stealth to observe their prey. If their prey is caught in a habit, using the same entry twice, they strike. Collective hunters act even smarter. Most herds or schools seem impossible to penetrate, but once the mass is divided, the split individuals can easily be conquered. Representatives of the government never get tired in propagating the 'evil' groups in society, the terrorists, the dole bludgers, the incesteous native people, the bloody foreigners, internet pirates, etc. Observation helps to devise strategies for divide and conquer, employed in the hunt. Satellite surveillance, CCTV, phone records, bank statements, etc create a transparent 'citizen'.

Strength. Force brings down the prey. Guns and tazers silence resistance. The monopoly to deploy force lies in the hands of the state. Say no more.

Speed. The cheetah surprises its prey by its speed. The governmental predators simply use the time between elections to redistribute taxpayers money as 'bailout', 'economic initiative' to their friends. Or to pass legislation restricting individual freedom. Patriot I, the enslavement of the US population, passed congress less than 24 hours from when it was presented, similar to other stupid 'anti-terror' legislations world wide. Rushed in, useless, and extended since then.

Deception. "There are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.", "The boat is full.", "We need to help the banks." Giving a governmental spin on discoveries of how fucked up governments act helps creating a commonly believed lie. However, spin means that we have to deal with multiple sources repeating the same message, not a single individual 'showing with his body that he lies'. Although the banking industry creates the current crisis, they can use it to concentrate more wealth in their hands.

But of course, this just adds up to a conspiracy theory. We live in a 'transparent democracy', with every move of a leader better known than any character in a daily soap. No police man, no politician evva turned out to be corrupt in this perfect country, still continuing its slow genocide.

Not every lie can be detected, but just few people want to deceive us, and can do so undetected (by observable reactions of them). Denial of the existence of the charming uncaring psychopathic liars grants them more power. Which makes me wonder why Rupert Murdock promotes so much lies about the nature of lying.

GFC

The 21st century repeats most stupidities in history, just with more modern methods. The ability to torture, kill, blackmail and abuse regular people has increased, which throws human rights back to an all time low (or at least since the 'civilised world' came up with the meme 'human rights').

While the meme of hope still awaits desperately to become a tangible reality, another fear meme infects the planet. The Geriatric Freak Club came up with GFC as synonym for Global Financial Crisis in a desperate attempt to produce more smoke to hide the arsonists responsible for the slowdown in economy.

Capitalism ostensibly gives everyone the chance the succeed, but this word does not in any way describe the functionality of global economic systems. Lack of accountability in politics and corporations inevitably leads to fascism, or how Mussolini called it, corporatism.

'Bailing out' failed commercial enterprises with taxpayers money just redistributes wealth from the bottom to the top, society as a whole loses. No one bails out house owners who suffer from the tight grip around the neck, exerted by the global banking system.

After abusing their powers to print money to setting up absurd, risky and pyramid-scheme like 'financial products', the banks now sulk over their self-produced failures. But being outside any governmental, or even democratic control, the banks use their remaining financial and propaganda power to distract from a system that cannot work in favour of all participants.

The Australian government granted Pacific Brands $17 million, out of which $7 million increased the pay of the executive staff (yeah right, those people who fucked up their business in first place). The amount of unjustified assumptions that shines through the commentary made me laugh a lot, and sad at the same time.

One head parasite of the GFC said:

I think the workers are right to be absolutely furious with their management, and certainly their management has got a lot of explaining to do.

What a consolation, Mr. Swan. 1800 workers lost their jobs, after the government doubled the executive's pay with taxpayers money. Now, jobless and with some drastic consequences for their livelyhood, allowing their anger might distract them from the corrupt government preposterously claiming to work for them as well.

Now, after the damage has happened, the GFC will 'look into all options' to prevent that unconditionally handed over tax payers money ends up in a few pockets. What about confessing that the bailout idea simply cannot work? What about a simple sorry?

'Looking into all options' takes time, so probably nobody notices how much money the government pumps into the criminal Connex connection, or the feudalistic banking industry. 'Looking into all options' means having a club of 'experts' jabbering for week and months, and coming back with results only if the problem still has some public attention.

The result is highly predictable: If Australia wants to be competitive on the global market place, the government really can't do too much. The 'golden parachute', another meme on the rise in the 21st century, cannot be taken away from those poor creatures that feel only born to command, but not to work. Err, sorry, we really deeply looked into this, but there's nothing to be done. Thanks for the fish.

Our global monetary system lacks sustainability, it needs collapses to remain 'stable' for short periods of time. As long as the basic structure of this system remains untouched, it will continue to work as designed: Concentrating this planets wealth in the hand of a few.

Bilderberg 2008

Have we missed out? Rumours on the evil internet indicate that the 2008 meeting of our benevolent tyrants, the Bildergroup Group, has already taken place near Athens, Greece, on either the first or second weekend of May.

If it has, the Bilderbergers managed with a simple shift of the date to move out of the global spotlight, tricking their most eager observers like Jim Tucker and Daniel Estulin. Although we know 'just' the list of participants for some of the meeting, the absence of even this information opens the gates to speculation wide.

Amazingly, mentioning the names of participants in Wikipedia raises objections. I put the participants list for 2005 and 2006 there, including references, but the pages didn't survive. Unless the Bilderbergers have sinister aims in minds, nobody should be worried to be identified as part of network of power players.

Observers of the Bilderberg Group suspect since long that these elusive elite have not the best interest of the world population at heart, rather the opposite. Their efforts changed the perception of the Bilderbergers from conspiracy theory to an odd fact.

A real secretive meeting this year promises impeding doom. Which presidential candidate got invited? Or none? Has Bush been given permission to attack Iran in June as pretext to suspend elections at home? Will the prize for a barrel of oil jump to $200? Will they release of killer virus? Will food crisis and global warming taken as excuse to implement more (world) government? Will the use of HAARP and weather war be intensified?

The ruling class always thought of their population as a dispensable resource. They certainly prefer to herd a single flock of sheeple than this dreadful cultural diversity believing in the illusion of democracy and sovereignity. What interesting times we live in.
