COWDUNG

When we orient ourselves by verbal definitions, when we prefer preserving our maps (even maps without territory) to checking them out against 'facts', when we fail to become aware of our assumptions and inferences and to test them out when possible, when we identify different levels of abstraction, we behave intensionally.

[...]

In many ways our neuro-evaluational, neuro-linguistic environments encourage an intensional orientation. Verbal facility in the conventional wisdom of the dominant group - what biologist C.H. Waddington called COWDUNG for short - may get confused with intelligence.

Which leads elegantly to George Bernhard Shaw:

The only man who behaves sensibly is my taylor; he takes my measure anew each time he sees me, whilst all the rest go on with their old measurements and expect them to fit me.
GFC

The 21st century repeats most stupidities in history, just with more modern methods. The ability to torture, kill, blackmail and abuse regular people has increased, which throws human rights back to an all time low (or at least since the 'civilised world' came up with the meme 'human rights').

While the meme of hope still awaits desperately to become a tangible reality, another fear meme infects the planet. The Geriatric Freak Club came up with GFC as synonym for Global Financial Crisis in a desperate attempt to produce more smoke to hide the arsonists responsible for the slowdown in economy.

Capitalism ostensibly gives everyone the chance the succeed, but this word does not in any way describe the functionality of global economic systems. Lack of accountability in politics and corporations inevitably leads to fascism, or how Mussolini called it, corporatism.

'Bailing out' failed commercial enterprises with taxpayers money just redistributes wealth from the bottom to the top, society as a whole loses. No one bails out house owners who suffer from the tight grip around the neck, exerted by the global banking system.

After abusing their powers to print money to setting up absurd, risky and pyramid-scheme like 'financial products', the banks now sulk over their self-produced failures. But being outside any governmental, or even democratic control, the banks use their remaining financial and propaganda power to distract from a system that cannot work in favour of all participants.

The Australian government granted Pacific Brands $17 million, out of which $7 million increased the pay of the executive staff (yeah right, those people who fucked up their business in first place). The amount of unjustified assumptions that shines through the commentary made me laugh a lot, and sad at the same time.

One head parasite of the GFC said:

I think the workers are right to be absolutely furious with their management, and certainly their management has got a lot of explaining to do.

What a consolation, Mr. Swan. 1800 workers lost their jobs, after the government doubled the executive's pay with taxpayers money. Now, jobless and with some drastic consequences for their livelyhood, allowing their anger might distract them from the corrupt government preposterously claiming to work for them as well.

Now, after the damage has happened, the GFC will 'look into all options' to prevent that unconditionally handed over tax payers money ends up in a few pockets. What about confessing that the bailout idea simply cannot work? What about a simple sorry?

'Looking into all options' takes time, so probably nobody notices how much money the government pumps into the criminal Connex connection, or the feudalistic banking industry. 'Looking into all options' means having a club of 'experts' jabbering for week and months, and coming back with results only if the problem still has some public attention.

The result is highly predictable: If Australia wants to be competitive on the global market place, the government really can't do too much. The 'golden parachute', another meme on the rise in the 21st century, cannot be taken away from those poor creatures that feel only born to command, but not to work. Err, sorry, we really deeply looked into this, but there's nothing to be done. Thanks for the fish.

Our global monetary system lacks sustainability, it needs collapses to remain 'stable' for short periods of time. As long as the basic structure of this system remains untouched, it will continue to work as designed: Concentrating this planets wealth in the hand of a few.

Yet another liar

The promised change has not arrived, the torture camps still filled, yet nobody wants to say anything bad about Obama. By chance I picked up some snippets of one of his speeches, which made me quite speechless.

As for our auto industry, everyone recognizes that years of bad decision-making and a global recession have pushed our automakers to the brink. We should not, and will not, protect them from their own bad practices. But we are committed to the goal of a re-tooled, re-imagined auto industry that can compete and win. Millions of jobs depend on it. Scores of communities depend on it. And I believe the nation that invented the automobile cannot walk away from it.
Which makes me wonder, why has Obama so much faith in Germany?

Probably American presidents have to systematically tell lies about American grandezza, blatantly warping history. So what can we make out of Obama's promise to fix the auto industry? This little lie withdrew him from any responsibility. He cannot be blamed for Germany not bringing the solution. On the other hand, if he doesn't know that Karl Benz is attributed with the invention of the car, he appears to be brainwashed by americophile propaganda.

Change? As long as systems don't change, they function just the way they did before. Changing actors hardly changes any function. At some point a majority of people will come to this conclusion and start the changing the system instead of its representatives. Unless the prisonplanet is finished first.

Gay politics

The Age reports today about a young man being charged for blackmail. He had filmed himself having sex with a politician and threatened to put the video on the internet. While I do not suggest that blackmail is okay, we don't know whether he asked for money or love (most blackmailing is emotional, and never makes it to any court).

The 'victim' of the attempted blackmail attack remains unknown, we just hear that he is a 'married senior political figure', while the offenders details lie in plain sight. While Jake tried to 'out' this politician, he got outed by The Age. But maybe Jake doesn't mind if others know about his sexual identity.

So the same action, informing a wider range of people of one's preference for sex partners of the same gender, gets one person into trouble (for just trying it) while it fills happily the top of page 3 in The Age. It seems though that Jake didn't hide his sexual identity, unlike his lover for 5 month. He used a false identity during their relationship, not to mention the fact of his marriage.

A society, in which blackmailing about sexual identity still happens, deserves the label sexual repressive. This repression goes so far that representatives of the government deliberately deceive its constituents about their sexual orientation, they betray their churches by ridiculing their vow of marriage. (Of course, I imply here that the black mail victim is only one of the gay politicians playing a similar charade, not just a solitary bad apple)

Jake's career took a dent after his attempt to regain his relationship, make some extra money or what ever his motives were. The 'senior political figure' remains unknown, unharmed, protected by the secrecy of a feudalistic administration, that covers for his lies to his voters and spiritual community.

Representative democracy is based on trust, not on control. Control exists only for commoners, who are by definition potential terrorists, but not for those in control. National security, ie. the integrity of the network of parasites sucking the population dry, is the common excuse why politicians get granted privacy even for their lies and crimes, while the governments satellites can zoom into any property.

Let's call Jake's gay lover Kevin for simplicities sake. (Yes, like Kevin Rudd. No, I don't think he did it. Which doesn't mean it couldn't imagine Kevin Rudd doing something similar. I saw a photo of him snuggling one of the bushfire victims, a little boy, who looked less than comfy.) Kevin probably found out early in his life that boys made him happier in bed than girls. But in homophobic Australia career comes only with traditional family, so he got used to live different lifes.

Networking, the essential component in the existance of a political parasite, takes lots of time. This allows for plenty of excuses to do something entirely different, constructing realities/stories to meet the expectations of the environment becomes a skill. If Kevin manages to hide his sexual identity even from his spouse (which some gays manage to do) he fits into the profile of a pathological liar. If his wife is complicit, he qualifies as skilled conspiritor, willing to cooperatively deceive those around him.

I fail to find a decent explanation why someone should trust Kevin. His voters might be sufficiently homophobic not to vote for him just because of his sexual orientation (very likely imho), and he lied to them. He lied as well on his wedding ceremony, vowing monogamy. The separation between private and public life is similarly inadequate like the separation of mind and body - if a person's private life requires the regular construction of lies and deception, then we can safely assume the use of similar strategies in public life.

Kevin trusts someone, even more, Kevin networked with a lot of people exchanging 'dark secrets' to secure each other favours in time of need. Finding out the competitors bets for a tender can make building one's house cheaper, or get access to unusual areas of entertainment. Doing things outside the law for the network strengthens its bonds.

So when his little bitch came back to him, he knew that his name would not surface. The network of psychopaths would not let him fall.

your life is your life.
don't let it be clubbed into dank
submission.
be on the watch.
there are ways out.
there is light somewhere.
it may be not not much light but
it beats the
darkness.
be on the watch.
the gods will offer you
chances.
know them, take them.
you can't beat death but
you can beat death
in life,
sometimes,
and the more often you
learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
your life is your life.
know it while you have it.
you are marvelous.
the gods wait to delight
in
you.
