An intimidating climate

Most human activity finds its motivation in two elemental emotions: Love and Fear. This applies even to the most "rational" pastime of humanity, science. In modern society, people don't need any scientific understanding to benefit from the fruits of the creation of systems of knowledge. According to the most popular narratives of civilisation, the "Age of Enlightenment" has replaced the "Dark Age" of religious superstition, often implying that we live in the best times humanity has ever had.

Without a doubt, we cannot remember a time when seven billion of us inhabited this planet, and we have absolutely no record of living in an age of technology and information like we do today. This relates mainly to the fact that record keeping, and systematic investigation of this planet as a whole started not too long ago, compared to the time homo sapiens sapiens crawls over this planet, or the time Mother Earth existed at all.

Our curiosity about what exists now, and existed before us doesn't need facts. Stories have been the glue to keep societies together, fill the gaps in our knowledge in ways which might or might not serve us as a whole. Explorers and traders increased to story pool of relatively isolated clans and tribes, before writing allowed a new form of transmitting myths, narratives and ideas. The invention of the printing press accelerated this process, the internet now provides access to stories from nearly all parts of the world.

We can pick and choose a narrative from a plethora of ideas for any topic of interest. Let's take the origin of humanity as example. The bible claims that we are product of "God", who created everything on this planet in six days about 6,000 years ago. According to science, humanity evolved from ancestral primates a few hundred thousand years ago. Many First Nations people narratives involve a creator as well, as do other mythologies which survived until today. Of course, one of the more interesting stories floating around mixes many sources to describe humanity as genetically engineered by aliens.

The lack of continuous records means we have to refrain to educated guesswork when it comes to our past. We know of our own existence, and if we're lucky, we might be able to trace back our family history for some generations back. While some people want to convince us that they can trace back to people mentioned in the Bible, our collective past as humanity is anything but certain. Luckily, precise knowledge of our history thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands or even millions of years ago has little impact to our ability to survive.

Because our survival in the future poses now the biggest danger ever, one of our own making. At least if we believe in the narratives prescribed by the latest whole world religion, science. Long before the heat death of the entire universe, long before our sun burns out and fails to provide the energy which contributed to the diversity of life on this planet, humanity will change the climate in ways which will make our own survival impossible.

Ironically, the narrative of "Global warming" aka "Climate change" aka "Extreme climate" mimics biblical stories. As "supreme" species of this planet, precipice of evolution, this planet is not only at our disposal, but our carelessness will dispose of it by creating too much carbon dioxide. However, the right kind of sacrifice suggested by the new global priesthood might avert the inevitable climate crisis. Meanwhile, doomsday vaults get constructed for those worthy of surviving the coming climate cataclysm.

Excuse me for sounding like a heretic, or in modern language, being a "climate skeptic". Of course, the term heretic cannot be used here, as it describes someone not following specific religious believes imposed to a society. It would unveil the religious character which has become typical for contemporary science. Yet, the similarities between questioning the immaculate conception of Jesus Christ during the times of the Spanish Inquisition and doubting the "consensus of climate scientists about anthropogenic global warming" suggest that autonomous thought remains even in the "Age of Enlightenment" highly unpopular.

But the data! Look at the data! Let's be honest, no one does. No one can. We know more about the average American (if we're willing to pay) than about the weather in the US. Cambridge Analytica prides itself to have about 2000-3000 data points for about 250 million US citizens, derived mainly from online activity. If a weather station logged just the temperature on an hourly basis, it would create roughly 9000 records per year. To know as much about the weather as about the habits of US citizens, it would take about 80 millions weather stations in the US. Which don't exist.

70% of the Earth's surface consists of ocean. According to Wikipedia, we have about 1250 buoys collecting weather data. That means a single buoy collects data for an area bigger as the UK, or New Zealand. I guess if someone wanted to suggest that a single weather station suffices to determine the average temperature for the UK, a lot of people would cry foul. Not to mention the drop of ratings for any weather report based on this solitary station, no one would bother checking it out simply because it wouldn't give them any useful information.

We just don't understand the climate. The measurements happen only in few spots, compared the immense volume of the atmosphere and the depth of the ocean. We don't have a thermometer we can stick up the planet's ass to assess whether it's developing a fever. Climate has been defined as the development of weather patterns of 30 years, so most people arguing about this have experienced one or maybe two "climate cycles". While the efforts to collect more data have increases without a doubt over the last decades, it's still by far insufficient for any meaningful conclusion.

The current data collection doesn't allow any proper estimation of average temperature, the longer we go back the worse it gets. Which explains why no existing climate model could simulate what has happened in the last hundred years. The term "global warming" initially used for this fear-mongering narrative leaves a tell-tale sign about the intentions for it.

First Nations people understand themselves as part of nature, and therefor never as radically changed the surface of the planet as colonialism and capitalism did. In these cultures, "ecology" wasn't a niche subject of scientific inquiry, but integral but the way of life and survival. The eradication of indigenous cultures to exploit natural resources also erased the intuitive understanding of our dependency as humanity on a healthy environment.

Carbon dioxide acts as nutrient for plant growth, and excessive amounts of it should lead to bumper crops. But deforestation and polluting the environment lead to a damage to eco-systems essential for the health of the planet despite not being commercially exploitable. The effects of collapsing eco-systems, such as Great Barrier Reef, or species extinction by loss of habitat, are undeniable. Declaring CO2 as solitary culprit just helps to create another playgroup for inane economic games, helping the enemies of humanity to gain more power and influence.

The fear-inducing narrative of climate change exists for quite some time now, and it taps into our innate love for nature. Just like the concept of monarchy, those who put us into misery present themselves as saviours. Just like the kings of the olden days, submission to their cruel game means more hardship for most, more power for those who love to exploit others for their pleasure. We live symbiotic with this planet. The parasites sucking our life blood don't care for the health of our host, Mother Earth.

Serendipity

While I'm walking through life, wondering how I get where I'm now, wondering why certain things happen to me, I do my best to stay equanimous. After all, what I experience might be just the right thing for me to learn, so is it really worth it to lament my fate?

A long, long time ago, when I met my first 'true love', I managed to totally freak her out by telling a story. Coming from an average, maybe even sub-average socio-economic background, calling a tiny rented subterranean apartment home, I fantasised about about being a writer.

I didn't deliberately call myself poor, and being able to rent a space, own an ancient beetle as car as a student indicated somehow I wasn't probably the wealthy provider for a potential family. I might have been charming, good-looking and interesting, someone to have fun with, but certainly would have failed to provide the prospect for a prosperous, care-free family life to come.

Aware of all the stories of the disowned heirs of noble blood, I reframed my meagre existence as research. You know, sweetheart, living in this tiny place, cash-strapped, optimistic yet limited is nothing but research for a book about average Joe. Coming from an enormously wealthy background, how could I ever write about 'common people' without immersing myself to a low-life existence?

I really loved her, still I probably hurt her a lot by making up a story about myself which was convincing, but still total fantasy. The only truth in it was my aspiration not to repeat the fate of my family, being an insignificant cog in the machine of society, subject to the whims of those who really ran the show.

My father, who died before I really got to know him, just so managed to feed his family as a labourer, got me into the strange idea to earn a living by virtue of my brain, instead of my hands. He probably realised that honest work in a dishonest society imposes limits of what you can achieve.

So instead of learning a 'real' trade, I embarked on IT work, at a time when it was booming and breaking boundaries. Being more of an introvert, programming and maintaining computers and networks allowed me to prosper for a while. I became financially independent, to an extent where money piled up, because coming from a frugal background, I didn't know how to spend it as fast as it came in.

I achieved what the norms of society define as 'success', making lots of money, but it came with a price. It just didn't make me happy, as I noticed how arbitrary the relation between work and payment was. At some point, while making about $150 an hour, sitting in front of a computer screen, seeing the cleaners sorting out the office, I wondered whether I deserve all that money while seeing someone doing 'real' work for probably less per day than I made for an hour.

The story I had told my first big love at the time had turned into reality, I became a commercially successful entity in a thoroughly corrupt society, no need to worry about my spending capacity. It didn't make me happy, though.

I felt like an impostor. While I loved the challenges of my job, I hated the circumstances of it. I turned from a tiny cog to a bigger cog in the machinery of doom, using my talents to prosper and maintain a system which needs lots of victims to function.

The system is a vampire, just like Shapeshifter stated. The bigger system though, the system of life in this universe, might as well support me, as the system of doom did before. Transforming the system of society has become my aim now, albeit all the strange experiences I went through since them.

We all have to make the choice, playing the game for our own pleasure, or changing it for our own fulfillment. As I've seen both sides of it, I'm determined not to go back to play the rotten game just to keep it alive. If this attitudes kill me, so be it.

Garden Of Hope

For the first time in my life I claimed responsibility for a garden patch, and I enjoyed the experience immensely so far. If I had still access to my facebook profile, I might pinpoint the time when it all began, I guess it started in January or so.

Due to some accident we had a large branch of a tree in front of the warehouse I'm working in. It looked ugly, took up valuable space and invited itself to be upcycled as sculpture for the front yard. The garden bit was overgrown with weeds at the time, with a healthy parsley bush and some rosemary worth keeping.

Together with Jonyo we decided to create an arch out of two large pieces, after we spend a couple of hours digging up the patch and removing everything not wanted. To make it sturdy, we cemented the base of the branches into the ground, and screwed the other ends into an arch.

As his backyard thrives with plants, Jonyo came back with heaps of cuttings ready to go into the ground, as well as some cans planted with succulents. I enjoyed finding a random arrangement for all the plants given, quite oblivious about their names, growth needs and likeliness to spread. As I finished, it started to rain for a good watering in.

I did know at the time that mulching has plenty of advantages, and enjoyed that the local council provides mulch for free. The parsley and rosemary were still thriving, about twenty or thirty other plants fought for initial survival.

A few weeks after the second of mulch, fruiting bodies of mushrooms appeared. For a few weeks, I could trace the mycelium by connecting the mushrooms sticking their head out. Strike! Shrooms provide a plant nutrient internet, essential for recycling carbon based materials. A fertile canvas opened up, ready for careful experimentation with creating a mini eco system.

While most people enjoyed the transformation, Adrian wanted to plant the front yard as well, but didn't get around doing it. With lots of empty space available, I invited him to cooperate. We found some good spots for heaps of sunflowers, some pepino and chamomile.

I treated all the wooden bits (two planter boxes, the arch and the top of the compost bin) with some old vegetable oil I found in the warehouse. It darkened the milled bits of timber, and brought out plenty of colour in the tree branches. I couldn't resist and integrated a small tensegrity structure.

The chaos came in the shape of a big dog named Wolfie. He enjoyed the garden so much that he dug for sticks, ran over succulents and laid some big heaps of poo. It took me a while to find out the culprit, restoring an unspoiled look of the garden project of mine. Some of the artistic components, a broken vase, a mini chair and a mouse shaped piggy bank have vanished as well. Other bits which might be easy enough to nick still remain. The biggest acts of vandalism are done by visitors to the warehouse usually, and have been sufficiently minor not to be disheartening.

Sometimes neighbours helped themselves to some of the edible parts of the garden, especially while the parsley was thriving. Some of the produce ended up in the kitchen - parsley, rosemary, chard, mint - and I used lots of comfrey for a healing creme.

Winter and some accidents acidifying the soil reduced the variety of plants and colours, and brought some new competitors on. The pineapple sage managed to establish itself and grew into a nice bush, currently flowering in shiny red. Mint and comfrey appeared, and currently thrive as well. Some of the succulents grow very prolific, and take over lots of space.

Watering the garden with an old-fashioned watering can has become a contemplative routine, and a great opportunity to notice what happened with to my plant friends. I hope some of the tomatoes will grow tall and have some fruit, and I'm still waiting for the pepino fruit to ripen. The aloe vera plant which got buried for some while, recovered. It got overgrown by a chard leave as well, but it looks like some of the succulents don't mind living in the shade for a while.

Sorry if I stretched your attention span without eye candy to illustrate the process I witness for nearly a year now. The popular concept of abundance becomes palpable when you stick your hands into soil and keep a garden growing. It takes nurturing, sometimes pruning and weeding out for a good harvest. The hours I spend caring for the front yard never felt like work and gave me a good deal of inner peace.

Suchness

If you choose a life from the shelf
you'll block the path to your true self.
Life offers so much more variety,
than just to function in society.

Yet when your ego becomes your master,
life easily turns into a disaster.
The game of craving and aversion
prevents healthy energy conversion.

Once you tame that fearsome hungry beast
you will find true peace, at least.
You can stop swimming against the stream,
turning the re-occurring nightmare into a dream.

Don't be afraid to seek your art of living,
and life becomes the gift that keeps on giving.

Human nature

Language acts like a virus, especially once we enter the level of abstraction. While we might learn from General Semantics, or Rene Magrittes famous painting 'Ceci n'es pas une pipe', that even words describing tangible objects fail to capture the suchness of the worded item, abstractions lead us to a dive in truly murky waters.

We pave the road to misunderstandings elegantly when talking about all sort of -isms, as no-one can define those terms with authority and accuracy, albeit many claim to do exactly that. In most real life situations, people insist that 'everyone knows' what communism, socialism, capitalism, feudalism etc. means, and whether or not one abstract category fits into another.

Unless we become aware of the inherent inability of using language to describe our individual and shared experience, we are held captive in Plato's cave, and might easily get angry at those who have seen the light of day. That doesn't stop us from attempting to communicate verbally, and luckily in a majority of cases that still works out sufficiently for survival and even enjoyment.

Since Occupy Wall Street happened, the term 'human nature' became a highly popular confusing term to argue either for or against specific ways to organise society. Although all of us have our very own way of perceiving the world around us, and although language with its multiple levels of abstractions makes it challenging to pinpoint some agreeable ideas about 'human nature', I want to give it a shot.

The black-and-white perspective on human nature seems most popular, describing humans as inherently 'good' or inherently 'evil'. I guess most peoples experience rather shows them that some people act without the intent of harming others, and other do. Of course, even 'bad' people do some 'good', and vice versa. Using the black-and-white approach fails from the start to provide a framework that could be backed up by experience, no matter how much one wishes for people to fit into this worldview.

Modern psychology uses the Bell curve as a tool to describe the distribution of human traits. This approach seems much more appropriate to approach 'human nature' than the moralistic ideas lingering around in the dualistic approach of either 'good' or 'evil'.
Bell curve (normal distribution)
A lot of the categories we use in language compare to boxes, especially if we think in mutually exclusive categories (good/evil). Let's put the thinking in boxes aside for a while, and take the above image as a better representation of human nature, with potentially 'good' and 'evil' on the flat ends of the curve. If an axis 'willingness to do harm' exists in human nature, only a few percent fall into the extremes of psychopathy or saints, the rest will simply do whatever they perceive as 'normal'.

The origin of the idea of government, however, links back to the idea that humans can't be trusted, and need protection from each other. This meme spread first via religion (born in original sin), and was then happily reinforced by more secular forms of government which basically acted like parents for entire populations. The expressions 'fatherland' and 'motherland' remind us of the generally parental character of nationhood.

As humans, we are individual expressions of consciousness, sui generis, and as such share some elementary needs. Besides that, we are pretty unpredictable most of the time, which makes life so interesting. A minority of humans lacks the ability of empathise, and therefor feels no remorse when harming others. How we can we deal with those individuals?

Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. In tribal societies, shamans held the responsibility to identify those individuals, and prevent them from harming the rest of the group. People with psychopathic predisposition don't turn automatically into monsters, and can still fulfil useful functions within their community. You might have noticed the absence of shamans in modern society, which happened unlikely just coincidentally.

Without anyone in the position to identify and keep psychopaths in check, they can basically do whatever they like. After killing or removing shamans as safe guards for communities, they could spread fear with impunity. And they used the fear they spread to demand even more power and less control for themselves.

Has anyone ever wondered why an individual murderer bears the full brunt of punishment society can offer, while president Obama signs off kill list as regular routine task? We live in a world run by psychopaths, which used violence to implement systems of government that create heaven on Earth for themselves and other psychopaths. Being only a minority, this means hell for the rest of us.

As a majority of humanity can be described as relative gullible, they perpetuate this mad system that harms the rest of humanity, many other forms of life on this planet and the planet itself. This has several motivations. (hey, we're all individuals), which potentially collapse into the erratic believe that human nature is inherently 'good' or 'evil'. As long as we believe in the validity of this construct, psychopath will maintain control over the rest of the population.

If ones believe that we're inherently 'good', then she/he will fall for any intentional lie. If government harms the environment or other people, it is 'for the greater good'. If one believes that we're inherently 'evil', their fear will ask for protection, even from themselves. Just when one understands that we cannot generalise this aspect of human nature, the opportunity arises to reign in the psychopathic elements in society without converting it into a prison for all but the psychopaths.

Humans can adapt probably better than any other species to their environment. Humanity survived much longer without the illusion of government than with it. Well, maybe we managed to get to this historical water shed moment before, and just wiped out the memory of it by nearly extinguishing our species. We have seemingly unlimited learning potential, as individuals and as community. We can create a world that shares the resources of this planet, and allows 100% of humanity to survive and prosper.

If we don't do it, the cosmos might giggle in schadenfreude about the failed human experiment, or feel sad about its end, or remain equanimous as the universe continues to exist.

Orenda

And so I decided to surrender
to a state known as orenda
named by an indigenous culture,
which was far from vulgar.

It's our divine spark,
which makes its mark,
in how we affect change,
and let all things rearrange.

It's a mythical force,
fruits of cosmic spores
to let us live in light
and to know what's right.

Will I find someone on this path
liberated from their personal wrath?

Warm and windy winter day with QFA63

Lineclouds appearing in the sky,
creating clouds not wet but dry,
you can watch them disappearing
to disguise the trace of geo-engineering.

Soon after witnessing another blaze
they melt into the typical white haze
that cover our skies once bright blue,
and prevents the sun from reaching you.

Certainly, that can't bring any harm?
It's just a little bit unnaturally warm,
bees and many trees are slowly dying,

but the powers that be wouldn't be lying?

Wake up to the world of today,

trust me, everything is okay.

Public information

Unbeknownst to the wider public, all governments, banks and corporations have lost their legal foundation on December 25th 2012. They have been officially and legally foreclosed. The pictures below show a public information campaign that happened today in Melbourne's CBD.

ANZ, Collins Street

Reserve Bank of Australia, Collins Street

Westpac, Collins Street

Commonwealth Bank, Swanston Street

NAB, Swanston Street

HSBC, Swanston Street

Town Hall, Swanston Street

Parliament House
PS: The reactions today to basically the same information campaign were quite interesting. In front of Westpac, an employee asked me what I was doing, and probably took care that street sweepers removed this outrageous bit of truth in front of their ATMs quite fast. At HSBC, a couple of police asked me what I was doing, and I replied friendly: "Spreading some good news." I explained shortly that all banks have been foreclosed last christmas. When the police man asked why the government hadn't done anything about it, I replied that governments were foreclosed as well.

I mentioned that I regrettably had no printed info for them, yet he did most likely consider me a loony at this time already. He asked me to be careful while chalking, not being a hazard for passer-bys, and walked off with his comrade. When I cruised along Collins Street again, most of the information was already wiped out again. I wish I still had a printer available to hand out the foreclosure flyer to those interested when seeing me chalking, it's still massive fun to do.

Unholy threesome

Divide and conquer

The primary deception
lies in the perception
that we're not really whole,
that our parts play their own role.

So we split body and mind,
our feeling and our thinking,
and turn our soul blind
and send our heart sinking.

We still manage to get by,
living this insidious lie.
Our ego takes over control
and acts as if it was the whole.

Yet it's still our own decision
whether to be whole or in division.

Conquered

Once body and mind have disconnected,
which isn't trivial to be corrected,
we become dependent on outer guidance,
available readily for blind compliance.

Our minds start to rationalise
why it's so good to specialise.
Instead of adapting to any environment
we succumb to any given predicament.

Our bodies slowly deteriorate -
isn't that our only fate?
We get used to the creepy feeling
that we have lost our inner healing.

We can still live a life in glory,
but that's a completely different story.

Reunited

We need a body to think and feel,
yet we choose which one is more real -
Our thinking in its lucid clarity,
or our feeling in its plasticity.

Our emotions reflect the whole picture,
while our minds like a clear structure.
This just seems like opposition,
as reality is a delicate composition.

While our ego prefers one or the other,
our soul doesn't really bother -
with impeccable precision
it uses both for any decision.

From the perspective of the whole
each part plays its indispensable role.

The state of confusion

Prelude

Humanity as a whole can only come so far,
If we repeat the cruel mistake of eternal war.
Right now, it seems like each and every nation
has been infected by a faulty idea of civilisation.

The crown of luxury (1/10)

Mother Earth offers us abundance,
A plenty that gives us the chance
to peacefully share its fruits,
while cherishing its divine roots.

Yet humanity, unaware of its role,
invented the game of control,
divided itself into the few and the many,
those who have all and those who don't have any.

While there's more than enough for everyone,
most humans suffers under the barrel of a gun,

We can't maintain our splendid opulence
without arbitrary and unjust violence
claim the few that occupy the tower of power,
trickling down on the many a golden shower.

Wisdom (2/10)

For the many, life became desperate,
daily survival as permanent struggle,
too many obligations to juggle
to hold onto the trust in one's own fate.

For the few, life became a game,
technology fulfilled surreal dreams,
or at least, so it seems
allowed living without any shame.

Yet others, who came here to stay,
just patiently walked the way,
leaving trails in the unknown,
where they slowly have grown.

With no need for fame and bling,
they just became part of everything.

Understanding (3/10)

Back to nature is the deceptive call,
for which we now easily fall.
If we want to save the planet's sanity,
we have to restrict the numbers of humanity!

Instead of learning more ecology,
let's just praise the natural theology
which declares humanity as enemy
and wants the big culling as remedy.

We can't share like this with all,
Let's kill some people to prevent the fall
into a world without clean water and air,
so that few can live on like this, ain't that fair?

But if 'like this' doesn't work out,
isn't 'like that' worth to try out?

Loving Kindness (4/10)

Life knows only winner
Death transforms the matter
to serve life again o so better.

The human race is only a beginner
in understanding the cycle of life,
that's why society seems such a strife.

If we base our world on competition
we harm ourself and the planet,
and we drown in our own net.

If we want life's completion,
we have to take power from the fool
and play again by nature's rule.

Mother Earth thinks it's alright
if humanity commits collective suicide.

Might (5/10)

It seems like we live in an age of reason,
The prophets of science guiding politics,
advising logically, not playing dirty tricks,
yet ignoring their heart is their biggest treason.

Wholeness still remains neglected,
which keeps thinking disconnected.
Without some inspired intuition
science just creates a scary vision.

We studied long how to kill each other,
even developed some insane will
for a mutual and complete overkill.

Yet if we don't start caring to bother
to integrate heart and soul in our thinking,
we'll happily watch our own ship sinking.

Beauty (6/10)

Humanity seems so ludicrously immature,
in its endless quest for more,
degrading our planet to a whore,
wanting to master Mother nature.

People are treated like cattle,
and we kill those who dare to rattle
on the cages of our needless slavery,
instead of following such bravery.

Hypnotised like a rabbit by a snake
we continue our fearful shake
believing it's a sign of integrity
to submit to imposed authority.

But we only have to answer one call -
the one that comes from the heart and soul.

Victory (7/10)

Many deeds of utter insanity
have been done in the name of rationality.
We still celebrate misunderstood genetics,
and largely misappreciate mimetic.

Instead of engaging in constructive dialogue,
we easily fall prey to any demagogue
who creates the air of mystery
by their own special version of history.

Most words of persuasion are mere empty shell
to disguise the reality of a living hell.
Spin doctors provide the final tweak
to create perfect Orwelian double-speak.

With meaning so readily and easily twisted,
as endangered our whole species is enlisted.

Acknowledgement (8/10)

If we give the wisest one control,
with the power to shape it all,
then everything would be fine,
society rescued from its steady decline.

Yet this is nothing but a fantasy,
an idea so incredibly stale
it doesn't even suit as fairy tale
it's a criminal intellectual heresy.

Because while we hope for a wise leader,
we simply follow the next best cheater.
One thing is certain, at least of today,
politics is nothing but a theatre play.

The moral doesn't even go very deep:
Following leaders makes you a sheep.

Foundation (9/10)

This civilisation isn't worth preserving,
it is build on falsehoods and lies,
controlled by a bunch of all-seeing eyes,
hell instead of heaven humanity is deserving.

We are all born to be free,
not to live in disguised slavery.
The system of human livestock management
has had its time, and it has to end.

We don't need to spill the baby with the bath,
many things we build on this path
will come with us into the future,
if they can be used for our nurture.

But bureaucracy, banking and government
only contributed to humanities detriment.

Kingdom (10/10)

I don't want to suggest haste,
but there's little time to waste.
We don't want to suffocate in pollution,
for most problems we have a clean solution.

The internet created the capacity
to weave a true global community,
to share all that we know
to tap into the cosmic flow.

Nature organises itself,
Let's keep the isms on the shelf
of humanity's primitive history
to finally shape our own destiny.

We don't need yet another revolution,
just commitment to a conscious evolution.

Bit for bit

Many people define 'consciousness' as nothing but the state they lose when they go to sleep, overdo substances or get severely injury by accident or violence. Somehow this negative definition suggests that we humans are either conscious or unconscious, which sounds to me like delusional, wishful thinking.

Psychologists would rather claim that we spend quite a limited time 'fully conscious', our sub-consciousness controlling the majority of our activities. Depending what you know or believe about your own subconsciousness, the idea of acting subconscious most of the time might induce quite a lot of fear.

Western societies don't value thinking about thinking and most forms of self-reflective activity very high. Although we all have a mind, only specialists are entitled and encouraged to figure out how these minds work. Yet in everyday business, our minds are mostly driven by our subconscious believes, and rationalise our behaviour after it happens.

The concepts explaining subconsciousness don't appeal too much to regular people, as they seem rather overly complex (Freud) or pretty far out (Jung). After all, all we need to do is to somehow 'soldier on', 'get on with our lives', 'make a living', 'function in the modern world', right?

Yet subconscious drives especially those unaware of it, or touchy to think about it. Education conditions us to 'mind our own business', and leave the business of the mind to dedicated specialists. This opens the door to easy manipulation, and maintains the state of learned helplessness most people suffer from.

So we can embrace the suggestion to be 'in control' of our own lives, only dependent sometimes to those who know ourselves better than we can ever do. If our experience contradicts the promises of 'experts', it can hardly be their fault, something must be wrong with us. And the experts can fix it - if not straight away, then not because they have other interests than our own best at heart, but surely because we're much wronger than we should be.

Any sort of logical system needs a solid foundation to reflect the reality of our own experience, otherwise it creates a life on its own. An idea or concept gone wild might provide us with entertainment, enjoyment, solace, yet it can hide the truth of our existence from us. Whenever we believe something without any personal evidence, we might get deluded into illusion about reality.

Humans are born to be curious, that's one of my personal believes I found plenty of evidence of. I think Truth fails to be described in words, it rather unveils itself in actions and artefacts of existence. When we observe objects falling towards the earth, very consistently, 'gravity' turns into one of those inexplicable truths. Birds and insects defy this principle, but that doesn't need to worry us, as they obviously do something to defy this principle - yet luckily, they land sometimes, and stop doing what they did, so we can investigate how they temporarily manage to counteract the attraction of our spaceship Earth.

The brothers Montgolfiere and the Wright brothers had to sustain through much ridicule for their idea that even humans could manage to defy gravity and float within the atmosphere. Luckily, the combination of astute observation and curiosity advanced technology a bit further, flicking a collective binary switch on - humans can fly, without any magic involved.

The oldest form of flight technology I know of didn't make any inventor famous though. A simple boomerang still manages not only to blow my mind, but those of many others as well. Newton's physics would have trouble describing its flight path, which might explain as well explain why the inventors of the Montgolfiere and the plane had to fight so much resistance.

'Modern' people know that planes exist, and maybe also that boomerangs fly in surprising ways. Most of us hardly know why and how, and wouldn't be able to construct or build either of them. It just doesn't give us a fright when we see them, our subconscious tells us it's possible and we don't need to worry.

We got used to the sun and stars staying in their orbits as well, continuous observation allowed to us to let go of the fear of the sky collapsing on us. Predictability became our friend, and science helped those curious to grasp bits of the why and how, and those less curious could rest in the solace that no magic was involved to make it happen.

The word 'magic' though does already unpredictable things to the minds of english speaking people, activating an essential binary switch in our subconsciousness. We tend to organise our experience around the concept of 'real' and 'illusionary', a imaginary binary concept shown as relatively irrelevant by quantum mechanics and buddhism.

The virus language (thanks Laurie Anderson) often creates binary concepts that defy our experience, while acting as cornerstones to our logic. Yet as social beings, we don't enter the world of our experience as blank slates, but informed by the ideas of our ancestors, transmitted by language and the culture we're born into.

The amount of 'bits' of information in any given sentence is potentially infinite, and neither sender nor receiver usually have any clue about much information is transmitted. If we take a popular way to construct a sentence expressing something meaningful, 'A is B', we already open the door to multiple interpretations.

'God is great'. Many people will not only find this sentence meaningful, but also containing Truth. On a semantic level, however, it turns into something with little to no value at all. I don't want to open a can of worms with discussing the terms 'God' and 'great', when I hear any sentence of the 'A is B' type the incompleteness flag of my subconsciousness gets raised.

Aristotle left humanity with some basic ideas about binary logic, we might consider him as one of the first computer scientists in history. Like all abstract concepts, Aristotelian logic simplifies reality in order to obtain 'higher' levels of knowledge. But when we mistake his map for the territory, we become susceptible to be remote controlled by anyone understanding the binary nature of our subconsciousness to create our analogue experience.

When we see an image on a TV or computer screen, we might be aware of the underlying binary construction of it, but depending on the quality of the image, we can happily immerse ourselves in the illusion created by it. Salvatore Dali elegantly demonstrated his understanding of human perception with images that change from a collection of random dots into 'meaningful' shapes in a distance, long before most people got hypnotised by the illusion of moving images composed of a random collection of dots.

Similarly we can stay oblivious to the binary nature of our subconsciousness, and enjoy the speed in which we can react without thinking. The ability the process information subconsciously at high speed definitely contributes to individual survival - faced with a wild animal, philosophical considerations warrant usually fast death.

In our 'civilised' times, life and death situation became luckily rare. In most parts of world, dangerous animals have been extinct, so technology exposes us to the biggest threats to our survival. However, while we live potentially the most sheltered life in known history, the idea of life-threatening situations seem to have increased exponentially.

According to Leary's 8-circuit model of human consciousness, the evaluation into 'save' and 'not save' constitutes an elementary switch in our subconsciousness. This evaluation usually happens neither rational nor objective, yet subconsciously based on our prior experience. If we made 'bad' experiences with approaching a dog, for example, in an early state of our life, we will most likely turn out be a 'cat' person, and when given a choice for a pet unlikely choose a dog.

While dogs can be dangerous in certain cases, most of them are quite harmless. Our subconscious programming, however, doesn't act rational, but automatic. Unless we use efficient methods to change it, it will retain any conditioning ever acquired. While this might sound somewhat overwhelming, it also offers with it the understanding that we might access much more 'information' than we can imagine in our wildest dreams.

Exactly there, in our dreams, we can find a glimpse of the opportunities inherent in our subconscious. A nearly perfect virtual reality happens while our body lays down sleeping, appearing as intensely real like our waking life. Our pineal gland emits DMT and we dance with the dream fairies. While millions of bits of sensual information travel through our nervous system, our attention focuses on a specific set of circumstances, and filters the rest. This 'rest' comprises a large part of the dream scenery.

Not everyone has memories of their dreams, yet we dream every night when we enter a REM (Rapid Eye Movement) phase in our sleep. Obviously, the 'input' to our dream awareness doesn't come from our senses. While the complexity of dreams worlds doesn't look like composed in a binary fashion, it just would need sufficient amount of binary data and high processing speeds. Billions of neuron, each of which might be just a binary switch or even something like a megabyte memory unit, with up to 10000 connections between each other, provide both - large memory area and processing speed.

The locus of individual memory items (engrams) has not been located. If we have a holographic memory, engrams potentially leave traces in a variety of different locations. The orientation of our attention brings memory back to awareness, not necessarily as precise recording of the events that happened, rather as current interpretation of the event itself. As we get mostly educated by permanent repetition, our episodical memory is in average quite prone to error regarding specific details. The same event seen by different people can yield description which tell entirely different stories.

In other words, each of us has a different binary pathway through the filters we acquired in our lifetime. Our reality tunnels, in Robert Anton Wilson's words, distort the space-time event we witness. Unless we understand and detect the patterns we use to generate our 'reality', we cannot de-activate the filters, although drugs might temporarily de-activate them. Opening the doors of perception doesn't provide you with super powers, and learning to shutting them at will is as important as the initial opening.

Yet we can learn to observe our thinking, to get to know the filters through which we create our reality. Don't expect to enter an unfiltered existence, just enjoy the shift of perspective whenever you flicked a binary switch of your subconscious that distorted your perception of reality.

Rain-making act of 1967

During the last few weeks I noticed quite persistently skies above Melbourne that didn't look normal to me. Strange shapes, sometimes iridescent rings around the sun and moon, plenty of high altitude haze, clouds that seemed to fall from the sky while I was observing them.

I upset at least a couple of people by tweeting out my observations about what's nowadays called stratospheric aerial geo-engineering, carefully avoiding the term chemtrail. I avoided this term not only because of the association with conspiracy theory, and like every properly conditioned citizen will know, a conspiracy theory can only be fantasy, but mainly because I didn't see any blatantly obvious trails in the sky.

Colours, the structure (or lack thereof), shapes and movement were the give aways for my assumption that Melbourne gets quite persistently sprayed lately, so I investigated a bit more about what could happen here. Geo-engineering, also known as solar radiation management or climate remediation, is a topic not very publicly discussed.

While nearly everyone has heard nowadays about climate change, especially after the introduction of a carbon tax to ostensibly fight it, the nice sounding terms like solar radiation management or climate remediation disguise discussions and research focussing on alternatives to a reduction of CO2 emission into the atmosphere.

In times when markets go crazy, the idea that a market instrument like the carbon tax can save our planet needs multiple leaps of faith to become credible. Especially considering the fact that Australia (or rather some industries) makes some seizable amount of money with carbon-based fuels and are exempt from this tax anyway.

It took a long time to make the illusion of climate change sufficiently real and threatening to call for 'global solutions', and once a momentum of fear is created it can be used in different ways as well. The concept of solar remediation management reminds a little bit of Mr. Burns plans to withdraw sunlight from the hometown of the Simpsons, Springfield, and potentially bears as many good intentions as this cartoon story.

With less sunlight reaching the planet, less heat will be produced, hence the planet cools down. Precipitation (clouds) achieve this effect naturally, so what could possibly go wrong when we put more clouds in the sky to reflect the sun back before it heats the planet up? Only several things....

While the cloud cover reflects some of the sunlight back, it also keeps the heat that's already there in. It also requires a lot of planes bringing the artificial clouds out, which delivers the currently accepted culprit for global warming to a place where it's most effective. Last but not least, water vapour alone wouldn't be sufficient to create artificial clouds, so an interesting mix of nano-particles (according to existing patents) does the job.

The whole picture behind geo-engineering gets really spooky, feel free to go through this rabbit hole yourself. As I can't really tell what in the world are they spraying (which is the title of a good documentary available on the youtubes), I rather focus on what can potentially be done to find out what's already happening.

I don't believe that any entity would claim: Hey, I know how to stop global warming, shall we give it a go? Experiments on that scale happen usually in secret, as no one can anticipate consequences of newly introduced technology. Controlling nature in our favour often yields more problems than solutions, cane toads and GMO might serve as example here.

Once facts have been created, the marketing machinery starts to retroactively justify what already has happened. As I've seen chemtrails not only in Australia, but also many years ago in Germany, and as they are observed at least in the US, Europe and here I happily conclude that the planetary 'rescue' by climate remediation is already in full swing.

The case of Wikileaks has shown to the world that governments do a lot without asking their citizens, and taking away 'a little bit of sunlight' might not find consent, but a lot of opposition. In 2010, the Brumby government financed a conference about Geoengineering in California. Doing this far away from home fits into the secrecy about this topic, and the willingness to create facts without letting the affected citizens even know.

During this Asilomar conference, Brumby stated that he wanted to attract geo-engineering research to Victoria, not too surprising considering the amount of energy generated by brown coal in this state. As many decisions in parliament are taken without even being discussed beforehand, or being noticed by media afterwards, exposing Victorians to aerial spraying could already happen, even quite legally.

Section 2 of the Rain-making control act 1967 defines rain-making wide enough to cover geo-engineering:
rain-making operation means the seeding or nucleating of clouds by artificial means from a manned aircraft.
Section 3 fully fits into the scope of geo-engineering:
Whenever it appears to the Minister to be desirable in the public interest to promote rainfall or otherwise modify natural cloud processes in any part of Victoria-
(a) for improving primary production either generally or locally and whether with respect to one or more than one primary product; (b) for improving water storages either generally or locally; (c) for reducing fire-danger in a forest area; or (d) for any other sufficient purpose- the Minister may authorise the carrying out of rain-making operations in respect of the area or areas concerned.
OMG, global warming is coming, and we can't stop our power plants to prevent it - so when taking the climate change paradigm as reality, geo-engineering as prevention certainly fits the 'other sufficient purpose' catch-all phrase.

The act further describes that the Victorian PM can grant away the authority for 'rain-making acts' in a way that would allow daily spraying, and informing some other ministers. (Section 5)

(3) The Minister shall cause a copy of every authority issued under this Act
to be forwarded to Minister administering the Water Act 1989, the Minister
administering the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987 and the Minister
administering Part 9 of the Local Government Act 1989.

So whatever happens above us, might already have left bureaucratic traces. I have no clue which divisions of the corporation Victoria handle above mentioned acts. Yet all three acts referred to have been recently amended (within the last two years), yet my duress for legalese is depleted for now, so I will stop my research here for today.

If all the spraying isn't officially permitted by the PM, the fines for 'unauthorised' rain-making are quite mild: $1000 a day. I wonder which path to go for Freedom of Information Acts to figure out who is spraying what so obviously and persistently over our heads.

How to destroy social movements

Sometimes, even Facebook can link to valuable information. I thought long and hard about why Occupy Melbourne didn't really get off the ground, although it had an amazing collection of talent. Then I read the lengthy explanation underneath this cute picture, and had a better idea of what social movements are up against, and that it simply crumbled under psy-op attacks as described below.

================

HOW INFILTRATORS AND DISINFORMATION AGENTS WORK:

How government counter intelligence operates on Facebook and internet forums.
These tactics have been repeatedly used in many activist groups, the tactics highlighted below are a common blue print, that government agents use in all campaigns that they have been assigned to, usually because whatever the campaigns objectives are, they may in some way be damaging to the establishment.

Psy-ops

Psychological operations, the label is quite self explanatory, this is the techniques they employ
to “head fuck” their victim, and also confuse other genuine group members. I will list various techniques that I have both been victim to and observed on social networking sites, mainly Facebook.

1. Character Assassination

They identify who is potentially the biggest threat, they then set about getting that person removed from the group, they have various means of doing this, and most entail discrediting that person in one way or another. Whispering is their most common method, ie, private messaging other members of the group, and telling lies about their victim. They then pick off the members of the group one at a time, until the only players left in the game are the other government "shills".

When they have pinpointed who they deem to be the biggest threat to their agenda, they set about the most despicable character assassination. If you comment on forums, they will twist things you say, they will at all times be working towards having other group members think they are good and moral, and you are bad and immoral. They will take totally innocuous things which you have said, and try and twist them so as you appear hypocritical, a liar, insensitive…..it goes on and on!

They will stoop as low as they see fit, they may even befriend your bitter Ex partners to get as much "dirt" on you as possible. Then they will proceed to post their findings all over Facebook.

2. Whispering

The whispering can be telling other group members that their chosen victim has been either ridiculing them, or doing/saying something that could be damaging to the campaign. To ensure that the person they are messaging does not go straight to you and report the correspondence, they may suggest that you are a dangerous or very vindictive person, and that they are afraid of you.

Having personally been the victim of their whispering campaigns, I can tell you from first hand experience, that it is very difficult to defend yourself from the unknown, people just distance themselves from you, and you are in the dark, and have no clue why.

3. Dummy Friend

One of their number will befriend you, confide their secrets, and embark on a bonding process, this is one of their most deadly weapons, it is designed so that you will then confide things to them, and they can then form a “psychological profile chart” on you, they then use this against you, as they will know your weak spots. Your new “Dummy Friend”, will try at all costs to establish a bond with you and gain your trust. They will gently try and influence your opinions, often telling you lies, and trying to distance you from other genuine campaigners.

Your new Dummy Friend will invent dramas, claiming someone has been very nasty to them, the someone could be a genuine campaigner, or one of the psych-ops team. The invented drama will be reported in such a way as to warrant a reaction of some sort from you, this could result in them dragging you into a public slagging match, or you contacting the “nasty person” with accusations. Either way, you come out of it looking bad, while dummy friend smells of roses.

Dummy friend may pretend to have an illness or disability of some sort to make you feel protective of them. Dummy friend can be very clever, and will play you like a fiddle! Dummy

friend will present you with "evidence" about other genuine campaigners, which will suggest that they are in fact an infiltrator, and cannot be trusted. When you have been presented with this fabricated evidence, if you react in any way, and make any kind of comment about the person, that comment will then be passed onto them. Be aware, Dummy Friend will at all times be passing all your messages onto the other members of the psy-ops team.

It will also be Dummy Friends job to plant the seeds of paranoia, always passing on tittle-tattle about this one or the other one gossiping about you. When you eventually cop on that dummy friend has betrayed you, this is when dummy friend becomes their most lethal, they know they have been exposed and they will then publicly use all the information they have on you in public forums, at this stage they can say what they want as they know you don’t trust them any more, so they don’t need to worry about protecting that bond.

Dummy friend at this stage attempt to protect their identity amongst the rest of the group, will make out you are paranoid, crazy, a nut job if you try and reveal to the rest of the group what they have been up to. Dummy friend is by far the most lethal member of the psy-ops team.

4. Rows rows rows!

They also instigate rows within the group, two agents will be in charge of the two warring factions, innocent members of the group take sides, and get drawn into their manufactured saga.

They will publicly attack the people they see as their biggest threat. They will malign and discredit them in the most despicable manner. They just love fighting, and at all times will be planting seeds all over the place to start rows. The most effective way to damage a campaign is to have continuous in-fighting. Dummy friend will play a big part in this, because if they have said something slanderous about you somewhere, and you did not see it, dummy friend will see it and pass it onto you. Even when you know their tactics, and you know that they are just trying to drag you into a public slagging match, it is very difficult not to react, and to just let the posse slander you on forums/groups/pages etc. In the manufacturing of these rows, they will either just straight out lie about you, or take things you have said, and report them totally out
of context.

Psy-ops agents are Masters at manipulation, coming off as truthful, knowledgeable,
and witty. Many of these tactics leave people feeling confused about what to believe, the whole while having fallen into their traps of paranoia, discontent, and criticism.

The whole thing ends in chaos “divide and conquer” the oldest trick in the book!

The constant rows often mean that genuine campaigners leave, either after being attacked, or because the constant fighting is wearing them out. Then the whole campaign either falls apart, or their order becomes the order of the group. If they are in control of the group, they will steer the group in a direction which will hinder not enhance the overall campaign.

5. Time wasting

The psy–ops team will at all times be devising ways to waste your time. Time wasted is time not spent on the campaign. An example of this would be to publicly accuse you of some kind of wrong doing, it is human nature that when wrongly accused you will want to clear your name. Clearing your name may entail trawling through emails and messages from two years ago to back up your innocence in the slanderous claims.

Another method they use is to get “dummy friend” to send you links which they say is evidence of wrong doing of another team member, trawling through these links will take up an inordinate amount of your time and energy.

Dummy Friend is the most dangerous member of the psy-ops team, and will at all times be working behind your back to destroy you. Dummy friend will also send you links to obscure forums all over the net, where the other psy-ops team will be ridiculing and slandering you, remember, this is a full time paid job for these people, so don’t be surprised at the vast amount of time they use setting these stings up.

6. Multi-characters

One of the psy-ops team, may in fact be 4 members of the group, they will often have numerous identities, and often even start rows with themselves to try and drag other group members into taking sides and getting involved in the manufactured drama. Divide and conquer.

7. Victimisation

While you are their victim, and they are at all times working towards discrediting you and victimising you, they will make attempts to make others think it is in fact the other way round. There are many ways they can do this.

When it then becomes very obvious what they are up to, and you block them, they will spend the next two or more days going to other forums all over the place to discredit you further for blocking them, they will accuse you of being a liar, a hypocrite etc etc. All the time making out that they have been a victim to you! Should you attempt to defend your actions on these forums, you will then be pounced on by the other psy-ops team, and a full scale slagging match ensues. I now ignore all such attempts to embroil me in their dramas.

8. Exposure

This is their greatest fear, and when exposed they will join forces and attack like the nest of vipers that they are, when there has been full exposure, it means that they have to create new identities and go through the entire process again of gaining trust and influence in the group, they have done this in the past, but they prefer to avoid this, and retain the positions they already hold. They will go to great lengths to have people think that they are the victims, and the person doing the exposing is in fact the infiltrator.

They will point out the great amount of time that they have devoted to the campaign, which is often more than the genuine campaigners, as they are full time employees so to speak, and getting paid for all they do! On the face of it they may appear to have been great supporters, but when you scratch the surface just a little and examine what they have been doing in the shadows, and not the light, a very different picture emerges of their actual contribution.

Make no mistake, these people are often masters at what they do, they have been trained in mind manipulation, and know every trick in the book, as to how to influence group actions and behaviour.

It is their ultimate goal to head fuck the entire group, genuine supporters when faced with this level of Machiavellian tactics give up and leave the campaign. Others continue to support, but from the side lines, and do not get involved in the group activities, and I really don’t blame them!

I have penned this, firstly to outline my own position at not defending myself from their attacks, as I realised long ago that interactions with them are futile, and only serve to damage the campaign with in-fighting, secondly to let other supports be aware of the tactics they use, awareness will save you a great deal of time and annoyance.

A group of 27,000 was formed; the above tactics were used to totally disintegrate the group. I have seen many more of lesser volume obliterated by this.

I would urge all supporters, if you see arguments that appear to be among supporters, stay well clear, let them fight among themselves, do not join in, and do not be swayed by the lies they tell, question their motives in trying so hard to discredit honourable people and/or create hysteria, distrust, fighting, and an unhealthy environment.

==============================

As I consider fb not really a useful resource for collaboration, I copied the content over here. I encountered some of these strategies this morning, and still hope that information about psy-op strategies can immunise a sufficiently large part of those still willing to engage for the global occupy movement.

I think it's also handy to have the text handy in a format that makes copy and paste easy. Some of the things here happen also as part of 'normal' unhealthy interpersonal and group dynamics. In those situation I found 'calling one's bluff' usually can transform a situation to a less damaging outcome, or even, given a basic common intent to cooperate, into a win-win situation.

On the brink

The middle of the solar year has just gone, winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, summer solstice in the Northern. 2012, the year of many apocalyptic prophecies and even more apocalyptic policies. The empire increases its effort to quench human spirit and enslave the majority of the population.

A glimpse of hope emerged last year with Occupy Wall Street and its many memetic offspring. More and more people world wide not only liberated themselves from the idea that 'government cares for all', but also started caring for each other and get organised.

The wrath of the Empire came fast and vile, filled prisons and thus lined the pockets of the private prison industry like Serco or Wackenhut. The disneyfied news media reported diligently about yet another futile violent protest, elegantly omitting any useful information.

Hundred thousands protest in Mexico against a stolen election, similar numbers protest in Spain against being enslaved to pay for some gambling bankers debt. Japan rises against the use of nuclear power with hundred thousands. Greeks hardly stayed calm since the IMF and Germany took their country over. The middle East is still boiling, hotter than ever.

The traces of the implementation of the New World Order are plenty and wide spread. Without going too far back into conspiratorial history, IMF, WTO and World Bank might be the governance to implement the Agenda 21, an official plan to save the planet.

Cool, not only is there some understanding that this planet needs saving, there's even a masterplan for it. Hold your horses, not everything might be as attractive as it seems in first place. 'Saving the planet from environmental destruction' is only the sales point of a plan that identifies mankind as biggest obstacle towards a 'sustainable planet'.

I admit, I want to save the planet. Not singlehandedly, as mythical hero archetype, rather in cooperation with like-minded people. I don't believe in the Messiah myth, which keeps our fixation to leaders alive. Self-organising groups of people have shaped the face of this planet, and this eternal principle of (human) life cannot be broken.

Yet a weird game determines the amount of resources available to any specific group of people on this planet. Since the invention of the magic scheme called 'legislation' a large part of the global population is forcefully put under its evil spell. The historic empires eradicated custodians of their lands, and replaced them with lesser wizards with the responsibility to maintain the magic spell of law.

Domestication of conquered people followed usually similar patterns, if they survived at all. Their cultural identity was subverted to subdue to the rules of the conqueror, from total ban to replacing just the top of the hierarchy.

The latest threat to the hierarchy comes ostensibly from machines. The creation myth of most contemporary societies portraits strict hierarchy as a given, and inevitable. Somebody's got to do the nasty job of bossing the rest around, and many societies regard this as a family affair. Soon, we can retire them, and have some machines bossing mankind around.

It's all for the best of all. My synapses scream and sigh simultaneously while writing something so wickedly Orwellian. While science still largely shies away from the exploration of consciousness, and has only ill-defined concepts of 'intelligence', Artificial Intelligence will blow us away. Or a comet. Or an alien attack. Or global warming. Or the sun exploding. Or the Oil Crisis. Or the Food Crisis. Or the Water Crisis.

When some people think about the future, they often see their biggest fears magnified. While contemplating plans about my individual future these 'globally accepted threats' want some attention. But they don't get it in their designed ways. I can choose whether to subscribe to the idea of humans as helpless, inferior beings needing a guiding hand for anything or whether to accept the challenge of free will.

Depending on the circumstances, we have been programmed to prefer everything 'just like it is', including a self-perception as unimportant and replaceable cog in a much, much larger wheel. Many lack the imagination required to consider a world without the big wheel government as desirable. Media provides us with a plethora of dystopian memes, which clutter our ideas about a potential future.

Assuming that most people on this planet are harmless, a cooperative society emerges easily. The biggest mistake in perceiving a future society lies in taking every bit of the now and converting it into a better working equivalent. Most of the jobs done today are entirely redundant, to keep people busy and reinforce their conditioning on a daily basis.

One essential area for human survival has already largely moved into the hands of the corporate Empire: food. Other omnivores on this planet require about twenty hours per week caring about food, it makes us look quite stupid in comparison if we aim for 40 hours a week. At least in most industrialised countries, homelessness reflects just economic inequality, not a scarcity of resources.

Although a lot of damage to the environment needs active repairing/healing, in average we would do much less in terms of 'job'. If essentials like water, electricity, heating, shelter, communication infrastructure come for free (and there is no compelling reason why it can't be so), the jobs for 'competing for the best offer in these services' go away.

We have developed more than enough technology and products to ensure a comfortable life for every human being on this planet. As of yet, this comfortable life would hardly be sustainable, as most economic processes have been optimised for 'profit', while neglecting efficient (economic) solutions. Transforming the industries we need and want as mankind towards sustainability, that means conscious of the interdependence of mankind to this ecosphere we call planet Earth, sounds like an insurmountable task.

Yet since the idea of ecology became more popular in the 70s of the last century, it raised already the general awareness about environmental concerns, and led to some positive steps towards sustainability. However, this environmental awareness gets now hijacked by the proponents of the Agenda 21, which want to save the ecosystem by culling the majority of humans.

The future remains unpredictable, although some consequences of maintaining the current status quo become very apparent. Especially the contamination with radioactivity, in combination with the exposure to dangerous chemicals erodes life expectation and general health, not only in humans, but in the entire chain of life.

Liberating this planet from its parasitic leadership only begins the next step of evolution. A memetic shift needs to prepare the majority of people not to panic once the emperors without clothes have gone.
